Although all things are possible, becoming ill was not a part of the plan. I really hate becoming

sick under any circumstance.

Nonetheless, taking all of the precautions in the world is still no guarantee that you will avoid becoming ill.

Today marks Day 5 that I have been drug through the mud by this illness. I will not bore you with the grimy details. Just know that it has not been pretty.

Other than a common cold, I have not had to endure any major illness over the past 12 - 15 years. I have truly been blessed in that regard.

Where I Have Been

These past five days made me wish that I could have gotten sick in installments over the years.

If I had a choice, I would have preferred my spine issues again over this particular illness.

Initially, my eyes burned as if in an over chlorinated pool for the first 24 - 36 hours. So much discomfort that I could not close them to sleep.

Daily I consume some pretty powerful meds, they had no affect on the pain I endured. I was definitely the patient on a placebo.

Although sleeping more than 6 hours becomes utterly uncomfortable for me, I could not raise my head from the pillow nor adjust to feel any comfort.

For the past few days, the ’S’ on my chest stood for ‘sickly’. I am certainly not a fan of that.

While I was able to interact in small bursts, reading emails was a chore. I viewed everything that was not a ‘New Post’.

Today, my mobility improved enough for me to sit at my desktop. 98 ‘New Posts’ were in my mailbox after cleaning everything else out.

Ninety-eight? Man, I had some reading to do. So, I spent approximately 4 hours cleaning out my email.

Because of my discomfort, I did not get the opportunity to enjoy and respond to may of the awesome posts.

Everyone just know, a predicated all of the posts.

Wishing You Well

For all who have not experienced any major illnesses, take care. Be cautious of your contacts

and surroundings.

Failing to remain vigilant could lead to more severe consequences.

I really wanted to write more; however, my body says that I have overstayed my welcome at the computer.

Wishing everyone the best and much success.

.... so true, Barbie! ...

it's when we're feeling a wee bit down that those 'dastardlies' get to us ...

when we're feeling happy & upbeat -- we're invincible!

Absolutely, Keisha!
I told Co--Vid to go find someone who's worried about it! I'm not the one.
