Keep living!
Lead on Educators, the next generation is looking up to you for guidance. Is there a future to lead them into? Many of our learners find themselves losing hope. Their lives are either on autopilot or on hold. It feels we are all waiting for our life to go back to normal then we can start living again. In the meantime - Nothing happens, eat, sleep and go back to sleep.
Thanks to the reopening of school it feels normal again and we can see our friends and have a chat.
Is life worth living still?
Life is what we make, without something to do there is no plan and we might as well go to bed. We have had enough of TV, and online movies are depleted. I am bored is the new hello! I just don't know what to do with myself.
This too shall pass, let your mind go wild and re candle the flames of desire. The is plenty to live for. In the near future, there will be new adventures. A new way to look at life. Do small things to revitalize your body. Let's remind ourselves what we used to do.
Take a walk.
Pack a picnic basket and go take a walk in the park. Go ones around the pond. Look at the birds, at the water, and at the sky. It is still doable. No bad weather put your wellingtons on and go jump on the muddy puddles. Walk in the rain. Sing in the rain.
Turn up the volume.
Play some loud music and dance. Move for no reason till you realize the reason. Have fun, remind yourself how it used to feel to have fun. Be happy and rejoice in the little things that we are still able to do. it is not all gone. Why act like it is all over.
Take the lemons and make lemonade.
These times have presented us with all the reasons to live life to the fullest but we can turn it all around and make sweet lemonade with these challenges. If you find yourself alone and in thought don't fret, It is called many good things chose one and make it work - Meditation, Focusing; prayer; reconnecting it is a retreat.
If you find yourself alone it is an opportunity to make new friends. Call a family member, visit a colleague. It is called missing someone.
If you find yourself hungry for something great, Get up and make it happen it is called craving. Bake, Blend, stew, roast anything to tantalize your taste buds.
We are still alive and there is plenty of life to share. Start sharing and look to your fellow humans. Share some love. It is not yet time to let go. Live for something live for someone, live for a living.

'I am bored is the new hello' !!! Nearly fell off my chair with laughter - it's so true, and as for movies, I personally can't even bring myself to watch another one, I now find the vast majority of them to be contrived, plastic and boring.
But I mostly feel sad for people who don't have/want a venture to put their energy, passion and efforts into right now.
For example, some of my friends just want everything to go back to 'normal'.
They were quite happy going to work and getting instructions from others, and complaining about their bosses. Now it's difficult for them to make the shift and change their mindsets to work in this 'new way'. They'd hoped for early retirement at best, but not entrepreneurship. I'm hoping everyone finds a passion that's profitable and that they can throw themselves into.
Anyway, thanks for the inspiration and the laughter too.

Indeed Ntlhane I have a lot to be very thankful when I consider the level of strife and conditions others have to live under. So yes to celebrating life and giving thanks to the Almighty Creator.
