Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

Hi Support,
I am not a proficient content writer. It is something that I am very poor at. I have come across a piece of software that I think would help me a great deal. It

Interesting post, Ralph! Thanks for sharing, my friend!

i do use it as my main piece of writing software
will it make you a good writer - nope - only practise will do that....
it will be very confusing at the start - if you have gone through andy's videos he makes it look very easy...then you try and ....
what seemed a piece of cake for him....what am i supposed to do now.....
would i advise it - yes - but maybe use it like you are taught to create content here to start with.
don't restrict yourself looking for place to insert another theme word.
just write freely and get used to using it - you can always go back and rewrite later - and use the tool as you would with a content writer to see how they do....
but if you expect this to transform you into a great content writer...i think only practise will do that.
write every day - maybe not always for the site - just write whatever you want - it can be he same word over and over again.
don't censor or edit - that would come later if it is going onto your site.
is it worth it - i think so - has it helped me rank - yes sometimes, other times no....
good luck if you go for it Ralph
phil

Hi Phil,
I appreciate your input and experience using Web Contact Studio. I agree with you that writing good content and be good at it takes practice. However, my main problem now is doing the research and organizing it in a structured manner so I can write quality content, but I need to solve the research and organization problem first, then I could proceed on the quality content component. Incidentally, I found on Udemy a 3 1/2 hour training course for Web Content Studio. Here is a link to the course https://www.udemy.com/course/web-content-studio-mastery/.
Again, thank you for your response.
Ralph

Hi Ralph - it is a tool that can help with research with the grabber - it is very useful to grab snippets for rewriting - i sort of use it - relying on my knowledge rather than research...and using the keywords as joggers as to what to include.
the course is thrown in for free ...or was when i bought it...so don't go for that till you buy it - if you are still going for it.
but if it is organization of research then using something like notepad ++ and thingamablog to paste the researc into notepad++ and create the blog offline in thingamablog - it won't give you a look at how you are doing for the key phrases and words.
but maybe worth trying for free to start with...
the other tool i use is keyword researcher pro - a keyword tool that does so much more - organizing the keywords adding them to post outlines and then checking that you have ued them within yuor post - all in hte one tool
i use this keyword tool a lot more than jaaxy as i can get a lot more results returned. and do a lot more filtering.
but if you are just starting then it might be worth using the free method above first and see how you get on.

Hi Phil - I spent a lot of time looking and studying at Keyword Researcher Pro, and it is an awesome tool and is one that I am going to add to my tool bucket. In my research process. I also came across a couple of other tools that you may already be aware of, and they are searchvolume.io and answerthepublic.com.
Jay is conducting a webinar this Friday on how to research for writing articles. I am planning on attending the webinar. Once I view the webinar. I will then decide on what tools I should use. I'm definitely going to use Keyword Research Pro and possibly Web Content Studio.
Phil, I really appreciate your help in helping me with this. I now have a direction, and I'm much more comfortable moving forward.

to me it is an awsome tool - they both are - with krp and wcs you should be almost unstoppable.
but you need to learn why you need them first and how to do it manually.
then do a deep dive into keyword research and understand why you pick certain keywords and for what purpose.
i also pass on answerthepublic whenever i can - when people say ' i don't know what to write about ' that is one tool that i push - even the free version
ubersuggest and searchvolume.io are tools used woth krp to get volume - and don't forget google keyword planner ( it is still useful)
now you have done your research i can pass on thefact that i have reviewed both these tools on my passiveincomexplorer site - but no one seems that interested in them - i even did a small ppc campaign but never really got any interest!! shame - i don't think people know what they are missing...but that is their loss...
good luck with the webinar - i know it i at 1am in the uk - so i catch the replay....
i'm glad you are more comfortable to move forward now.

I have a website https://www.reallyloseweightfast.com that I have not done anything with since March 2018. This is a package I purchased from Affilorama called jetpack, which is design to create an email list and send out weekly newsletters that contain affiliate links to digital products. There has been very little support in the communication I do get from the owner Mark Lane is regular JV emails promoting other people's products. In June 2019. I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I now believe that affiliated marketing is the real deal, and now I want to move forward.

I picked a niche of weight loss and dieting because of my own experience. I am a diabetic, but I take no medication. About two years ago, I started on a low-carb diet, and as a result, I've been able to get off of all prescriptions, and now my blood sugars are normal.

I am now in the process of redesigning my website. I recently installed the Generatepress theme and Elementor, so I'm going to spend the next few days working on my website and then moving forward on writing content.
Thank you for your help. I didn't know getting help from Wealthy Affiliate members was this easy. It's much appreciated. Thank you

i have heard of people being able to reduce or get rid of the meds through changing their lifestyle with diabetes.
i do think that affiliate marketing is a mthod that will never really disappear - free advertising for the vendors and only pay their staff when they get a sale ( become a commission based salesman with payment by results to keep them keen....)
but from your side there is very little startup costs, no product production cost - if you can't sell it there is no stock to get rid of.
but you can promote what you know really works and to people who it can help.
i would possibly have chosen the elementor theme - it is a bit more basic than generatepress and does suit elementor - can't remember what it is called - check on their site....
as you say the help here is the main advantage - even if you may need to verify some of it.
but most of us don't mind helping out - as we have all been there in the not to distant past....
have you found the astra theme with the starter packs or templates in elementor or gutenberg.... might be worth a look at - even for some ideas - put this on a test site.
have heard of affilorama - but never looked into them.
know of jetpack and looked at the features - and found that it slows the sites down - and wa don't like it - too much going on and it compromises their security...

I haven't used that, but I do recommend Jay's live training to help you. Just go to live training on the left menu and take notes. The last one on Friday is a great resource.

I saw Jay's live training last week, and it was excellent, and it's a format that I intend to follow. However, my main problem is doing the research and organizing it in a manner to write good content. Jay has any webinar this Friday on the research component for writing good quality content, which I am going to attend.
