What WA has done for me in the first 6 months and how to make it work

I have experienced great success with WA by working a great program, WA, having support from my family, and staying determined to succeed. I wanted to share what I have achieved and some key points to my success to encourage others to make it happen. See where you want to be and make it happen.

When I started I had a lot of doubts and after month one, two, and three I had barely made a few cents and a lot of friends thought I was wasting my time and living in a dream world. Let me tell you that with WA and some great friends I've made along the way my dream world is becoming a reality.

My goals where to keep from my wife from going back to work after my son was born....... reality now. She gets to stay at home and raise our son which was a dream of ours so our kids would never be without one of us by their side.

The Car of my Dreams. Just bought it yesterday........ reality

Quitting my job and doing IM fulltime.... Still working on it. I'd rather pay my house and cars off before I quit, but it's a 3 year plan.

Main Points of my Success

1. Do all the training, I did it twice because I didn't want to miss anything. WA is by far the best place to learn and everything I've learned so far has been through here.

2. Always add content - when I didn't know where to go next I just wrote something new and that's still what I do. If I'm not sure where to go next it can't hurt by getting more visitors to your site.

3. Network with people - I have made so many good friends inside and outside of WA because of this journey. Follow the footsteps of those that came before you.

4. Socially share your work and engage with others on theirs. The best way to get a comment is to leave a comment. If you want a +1 or like then find someone out there to like and +1 their work. Thank You WSS

5. Ask for help. I was stuck so many times and so many of the Ambassadors got me to the right post or training that I needed to accomplish the tasks I wanted to on my site.

6. Fail - I have had many failures along the way but I never let that keep me from achieving my dreams. I wrote several pages before I was getting good rankings in Google, show them your worth recognizing as an authority.

7. Biggest regret - the time I spent stat watching and waiting for rankings and being discouraged by it. I would be even further along if I had just written more pages instead of worried about it. There is a time for GA but it's not before the 3 or 6 month mark. Set it and forget it until your at the point of where you need to analyze your website.

8. Fear - Don't let this control your actions. Go out and achieve what you want. Write, write, write, and then write. Don't forget your research either. I chose really low hanging fruit to get a few visits and then the rankings came in because people read what I wrote and engaged.

9. Don't forget where you came from. At WA I have learned to try and emulate what they are trying to do here. I give back to my visitors, I help my visitors with comments, My goal is the visitor first and the money came after, Come back and blog and help other WA members as we are all a uncertain about what to do sometimes. This is still the first place I come for solutions.

10. How bad do you want it???? I wanted to make this work and excuses for it not working only lay within ourselves. I had motivation and dreams to drive me, a beautiful wife I wanted to support, wanting a new job, wanting a be my own boss, wanting my success to only depend on my hard work.

I have started achieving my goals and what the future holds for me only depends on how bad I want it.

You have the tools you only need to pick them up and use them. Thanks WA, Kyle, and Carson.

What will drive you to success and what is holding you back???

Ramccracken, you are most certainly a model for success! I enjoyed reading you post and am very much inspired by it. I am also searching for ultimate success in this online business and am engaging in all the training WA affords me. Thanks so much, and I look forward to networking with you.

To your continued success!

Thank you for sharing this and your inspiring words. It's just what us newbie's need to keep focussed. The tips are very useful and your wife and son are beautiful.....but I think you probably know that already! Keep up the great work....hoping to be writing something similar soon.

thats some really good news! it sounds as though your goals are quite similar to my own...get some cash coming to make up for inflation, pay off the mortgage, then the stress level will take a major decrease.
For now, I find that i enjoy working on the webpage to see how it will evolve. Its easier than i dreamt, at least when following the advice laid out here at WA.

Good stuff! Your story based on real data gave the answers to so many questions that have been echoing inside my head for years. Thank you for taking the time. I hear the reported scam/real story ratio for online business is something like 60 to 1. Knowing this the go-for-it decision is difficult when others are depending on you. Six months down a scam path can be a disaster in expense and even more so in time.

Wow man, I'm in the exact same boat! My wife is having a baby in October, and I dream of owning a Kawasaki Vaquero (a bagger motorcycle) and traveling around once the baby gets a bit older. Reading this was a true inspiration and a great success post. I too am going through the training for the second time and I know the website I am currently working on will take off eventually. my goal is to have a first page ranking by month 6

Thanks for posting, this is a huge help. I have done a few of the steps you listed. If I didn't understand a lesson, I went back and re-read and re-watched tutorials.....It was a huge help.
Thanks for all the words of encouragement in this post. You have made awesome progress here.
I'll be following you.

Best Regards,

Paul

Nice, just what I needed- I got distracted for the last 6 months got involved in another business that didn't work out when I could have been posting more I've only posted 2 articles now its 4 ! I have to be brutally honest with myself and admit I have seen too many reality shows and reruns of Northern Exposure and Brothers and Sisters..... it never ends.I need to become my own survivor and set up my business. My own fault and I know I need to do this that I am called to do this because I cannot stop searching for the next alternative health tip ......It's something that is inside me and I cannot stop. I just need to get serious about WA and turn off more TV. FAR MORE OFTEN.nd become my own "SURVIVOR"

Great information! I'm just in my second month with WA. Certainly I'm VERY impressed with the training and the community support. Thanks for adding to those dimensions!

I do check my Google Analytics every day, but just to see the graph. It is encouraging when the line is going up! But I will definitely take your advice and let my investment "mature" before I start spending more time on that element.

I keep creating content, and it is FUN! Since my niche is bass fishing, I get to research my passion and learn tips and techniques that will improve my fishing success.

Congratulations on achieving your main goal, allowing your wife to raise your son. What a wonderful gift for all of you! I haven't made penny one, YET! I remember Vicky saying she was SO excited when she made her first commission: $4! I'll be excited as well!

Of course your friends were right. You ARE living in a Dream World. But thanks to WA, it's a World where Dreams Come True!

Keep up the good work and continue to inspire the rest of us.

Tight lines!

Hi Ramcc:
A very inspirational post, its always great to hear when someone is actually making it happen, true that at times it seems nearly impossible, but those times are just so short lived happy to say.
I must mention I am curious, how exactly did you achieve financial freedom, Is it just by promoting WA on your website, or did you leverage other entities? Await your answer. Till then I wish you continued success in the way you have done.
Thank you for sharing.
Cheers.

Hi Ramccracken,
Thanks so much for sharing your motivating success story, great tips. This affiliate marketing is challenging and demanding....but hey if it were easy then everybody would be doing it. Nice Z car, I had one around 1986.

I can relate to the struggles. I am currently having issues getting my website right. I have tried several times to install my sitemap but I keep getting an error message. Also there is an "edit" link at the bottom of my website that links to my dashboard. Why is this?

PS I'm now following you.

Hi Vemp:
As for your sitemap. I suggest look over the training by Kyle and try again. The edit link button. not sure I understand. In all, I can too relate to the struggles, but gladly I find them to rewarding efforts, as I find them to be the strongest foundation for learning. I wish you great success, like Ram.
Cheers.

Hi Sherefashion,
