I try and put a photo into my profile but it won't accept it. The pre made photos work. I've tried doing this on google chrome and firefox. Any ideas?

When I started here, I had the very same issue. Turned out that only the Opera browser allowed me to upload my own image(s)... yet, I can use Firefox for EVERYTHING else here. Carson had it fixed at one time, but alas... the scripts need tweaking once again.

It may be the dimension of the photo that is either too big or too small. Try uploading a 250 x 250 pixels image.
