Depends on what country and area of Africa you are referring to. Different nations, and areas have different needs.
Africa is like the U.S. we ALL have the same needs just different places (: it's more of a broad question
But also how do I put it. I have friends from ALL over the world and everytime I ask an African the needs of what they are they normally say the same, rather they be Nigerian to Ghanaian to Mali, to Malawi to anywhere. I just wanted to hear what others thought thats all (:
Well if its coming out of a bad worst case scenario -- Clean water and work that pays. If I was in that sort of scenerio, what I would aim for is to get together with a group of individuals, and brainstorm and work together to form an online service of some kind. I would try to get english translations of a web service and try to do it with as little as possible to pay for the expenses quickly and start earning a profit for the team. ---
So I guess what is needed is also education on how to go into a professional and positive mindset and leadership in forming an organization amongst the people with little resources at the start.
And figuring out how to raise money from the local communities, and give back when its profiting, and start other local projects to get the economy going.
