Top 100 Once More
Introduction
Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
Also may I wish all you wonderful Mum's a very Happy Mother's Day wherever you may be in the world.
This week's title could have been a number of things:
A few off days
Some new thoughts and ideas.
The best laid plans of mice and men!
The truth is that I have come up with some ideas for next week, which today have been totally wiped out.
My wife asked me to look at the ceiling in my old office, will have some repair work to do next week, a couple of days should be enough, I hope!!
Just had a mail from my plant firm to say that three dozen Geranium plugs are on their way, so that is at least half a day, potting them on.
Hope to attend the Cricket AGM on Wednesday Evening, add the weekly shopping in the morning, and guess what we are Thursday already, still these things are sent to try us aren't they?
One good thing today, was being able to have our daughter in the house for a chat, followed by our son and youngest grandson, it has been two years since they were last able to come in. Made our day.
The Last Few Days
Did have a spell of not being too bothered about doing anything, but did get over it. Have had a problem with some of the folk at my Local Legion Branch, which has led me to make the decision that It is time that I stepped away from holding office, so I will retire in October at the AGM, I no longer need the stress.
My car had its annual service and test on Friday which it passed with flying colors, it only needed a set of new wiper blades which I did know.
Thinking about my website and how to improve my list, or build it even, decided to have a look at what material that I have which could be used to add content, articles and to do lists, which I can offer as an incentive.
Delighted to say that I have found a number of items which can be re purposed to fit the bill, only had a brief look at what is there, so did intend to make next week a real get sorted week, that was until the problems arose.
Did manage to have sometime in the garden which I did enjoy.
The Next Few Days
Allowing for all the new jobs which I now have to attend too, still hope to begin work on my new plans for the website.
Ideally would also like to spend sometime in the garden, before it becomes a jungle which I cannot tame. lol.
Have also neglected both sorting out my Family History and my autobiography, it would be nice if they could fitted in, if just for a few minutes.
But we will see, baby steps, I know.
Know that I have used this quote#quotation before, but it does inspire me!
Conclusion
As you will realise it has been a strange week, and next week does not look a lot better, but at least I have some positive ideas for the future.

Sounds like you have had an interesting week Stuart!
The highlight must have been seeing your daughter, son and grandson in person after two years apart.. I know what that feels like!
If everything goes to plan, I will able to visit my parents and Brother back in the Uk in May for the first time since my last visit at Christmas 2019!
I hope you get the ceiling done without any issues and enjoy your time in the garden whilst the weather is nice (this can change for the worse at anytime in the UK)!

They live a little further South than you do.. in North Devon where I grew up.
But I haven't lived in the UK for nearly 20 years now!

I'm getting to this just before you post THIS weeks update. It's been a busy week.
It sounds like you've been busy as well and it's not been all work. That's great. I'm glad you got to see your family. For many families it's been too long. I don't get to see mine often. I'm 6-9 hrs away depending on traffic.
Tonight I'm trying to catch up. There is always something to do in WA so I'm not sure if I'll ever fully catch up. I'll just keep moving forward.
