The Top 100 Re-Visited
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
It has taken me a while to just sit down and attempt to pen a few words in this my weekly blog, this is for a number of reasons which I will attempt to explain as I begin to unravel the past few days.
The title for this week will no doubt suprise you as it did me when I found that I had once again entered the top 100 on this illustrious site. Not sure how many times this is in fact, but certainly a few. What did amaze me was the fact that apart from this blog, answering the odd question and visiting the daily chat room, I do not really seem to contribute much to the site at all.
So whatever it is, I must be doing something right.
The Last Few Days
There is very little to tell you, as I have taken advice offerred my at least one of my WA friends and reduced, not only the amount of work which I do, but how long I spend staring at the computer screen.
Must confes that it does feel strnge not spending hours working on either the business or new projects, but have realised that until my eyes are fixed that there is not a great deal that I can do about it.
Talking of my eyes, got a little annoyed in the week, Thursday I think, the clinic phoned to tell me that my appointment for May 21st had been cancelled, there is now no surgery that day. New date is June 15th. After the odd hour of anger have calmed down, it will be done when it is, and not before.
Am missing not driving but that is just a side effect of my problem
Have spent a little time on the computer, mainly looking at training videos, rather than trying to type and develop new ideas.
Sometime has been spent in the garden, working out not only what needs doing but how I can improve the overall aspect of it. The problem with my ideas, which will be done when I can, is my eyesight needs to be a lot better for them to ne carried out.
If I explain that one idea is to extend the decking near to the Summer House (aka my art studio) you will understand, as a fair amount of sawing and drilling will be required, this I am certainly not able to attempt at the moment. Besides which other parts of the garden need weeding and sorting first.
The Next Few Days
You will understand having read the above that the busines is pretty much on hold for the foreseeable future, with not a lot that I can do about it. Could I suppose try to plan for the future mainly in my head, but with some hand written notes when I am able to do so.
Do hope to watch some of the superb training videos which I have most are quite short so will not tax my eyes too much.
That my friends is about all for now.
Conclusion
You are aware, I think that I do like to write around 800 words each week, but never less than 500, before I started this I had resigned myself to not being able to even manage 500 words this week, so I am delighted that I have at least achieced that.
Due to little or no progress should feel a little low, but I do not, think that I am finally getting used to the situation.

Does RAF stand for Royal Air Force that is so cool Stuart I have to tell you. I used to drive for a courier company ( I took a break from baking) anyway I used to drive west in Indiana a town called Terre Haute has an air force base and every Thursday I would go to the airport that the planes take off. So I would stand there for as long as the planes took off. It was the height of my week that I got to see the air force planes. It was so exciting and every July 4 the the Air Force fly's there planes over Indianapolis so cool.. I just had to tell that story to you..

It is late here, but wanted to reply as I have just seen your post, yes RAF does stand for Royal Air Force, only twenty four years.
Once flew to USAF Offut in Nebraska in the Vulcan when I was the Chief Weapon Instructor on the Vulcan Aircraft.

I'm happy to hear that you're taking advice from it sounds like not only your VW but others!!! Before you know it, you'll be back in tip top shape although I'm sorry they postponed your procedure. HOWEVER, as "they" say, everything happens for a reason. You may not know what that reason is, but someone else certainly does and you know who that is!!!!
So, enjoy your week. Mine is a little crazier than usual. Yesterday I hiked all morning then had to run around and do errands and get my car cleaned out. Today I have a lot more errands to run to get ready to head to NY. My MIL has already been asking about me coming up. That travel IS getting quite old though.
Tomorrow I'm doing a day trip with a bunch of people and Thurs I head to NY. I really do hate to drive yet I will be on the road for one of my "monumental" birthdays. 😏😣 I'll celebrate when I get there with some friends though and drink wine out of the special glass I bought myself since I'm struggling somewhat with this new number! 🤗🤗

First off A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sent with many kisses and much love, is your day the 10th or 11th? The reason for the question is my daughter was fifty today the 10th.
Regarding my change of appointment, I was told from a very early age that " He moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform" At times I may not like it, but have always accepted it!
You are certainly keeping busy. how long will you be in NY for this time? That is one thing that I do miss at the moment not being able to drive. Thought tonight "oh I will just pop over there, then realised without a car fifteen miles is to far for me to walk, there and back.
Not fit like you dear lady.
With restricting my time on the computer, I am at last doing some work in the garden, and boy does it need it, a couple fof hours today and I can barely see any results. Still I will get there eventually.
Enjoying a glass of red before I retire.

My birthday is actually the 12 but I'll be gone all day tomorrow for a day trip, have to come home and pack the car to head out to NY early Thursday (the 12th) morning. It takes me 7-8 hrs to get to my MILs. Great. Your daughter was born in a good month!!! 🤣
I'll be gone a week. I have to start limiting my time there. It gets to be too much and I have things to do at my own house.
Yes, He DOES work on His own timeline BUT it all works out for the good. It's hard to have patience sometimes though. I try not to get frustrated any more because I've seen the reason for the delay a couple times and was thankful for it.
So, you have a good rest of the week and I will "talk" to you next week. With age comes wisdom so by next week I should be really smart. 🤣🤣🤣

what does VW mean or is a secret. OOH Btw my Mother's birthday was the 12th, my Father's is 17th, my niece is the 21st and her mother my baby sister was the 10th.....
