The New WA and My Work

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the WA Family, as always trust that you are all keeping both safe and well.

Having opened up WA this,morning after being out for most of it, was confronted by the new layout, that is when I had figured out how to get into the site in the first place. Have watched Kyle's video and have a couple of observations to make.

Whilst the new level may suit some people, I do think that the price alone would make me not want to take a look. Accept it might be good value, but we also all have different values with how to use our available money.

Just grateful that I grandfathered in when I was able to, this will keep me here for the immediate future, as you are aware I do enjoy being on the site, but like many have to be careful how I spend my pension.

At the moment have not really had chance to explore the new-look site, immediate observations note that the credits which I have earned for providing comments seem to have gone, also most of my past blogs also seem to have gone astray. However these are matters that can be addressed when I get the chance to explore further. Have just noticed that my latest blogs are now on the screen behind this one.

No doubt as I discover different items both new, old and vanished I will comment further.

Must point out that I am not being deliberately negative, Kyle has every right to improve the site as he sees fit, after all it is his and Carson s business. It could just be that when I have made a careful observation of the new site I will change my mind.

Mutterings over, back to what I have been up to.

The Last Three Days

The intention was to carry on with getting items ready to build the new site, to this end have added a couple more books to the list. Also improved the planner, it is now colour coded.

• Ready to re-purpose
• Started
• Finished

When I look at the planner now, at least I can see what needs doing without referring back to the original document.

As I said last time I still have a long way to go, when I read the blog by Mel on his new plans and how long he expected them to take, to say that I was heartened was putting it mildly to say the least.

Have been able to have a look at another project very briefly, my time being mainly taken up by the new website and family matters, not forgetting arranging to lay my wreath on Sunday, with all the restrictions that we will have to face. Basically I have decided that it will be for individuals to do as they wish. Providing of course that they remain safe and obey the restrictions that are in place.

The Next Four Days

As things stand will continue to gather material for the new website, then hopefully start to re-purpose some of the books.

With a bit of luck will also have a closer look at the new face of the WA. It does intrigue me what changes have been made, but will be careful not to let this overshadow my main objective of the website. At the end of the day providing that I can use what I need to, when I want to, then I have as long as I want, to explore the new creation.
