Suddenly I Feel Happier
Good Morning WA,
When I woke up this morning, my mood was like the dark clouds above, I was tired, had no energy, and really could not be bothered.
As usual went for my walk to fetch the paper after breakfast, did not make me much better, so scanned the paper, switched on the PC, thought what now. Had spent a lot of yesterday sorting out the files on the hard drive, what a mess, still not finished. This has led to slight confusion, on my latest post, have done a piece on meditation, now discovered that I have a whole file full of articles on the subject.
This has led me to having a slight swerve regarding my websites, will now run one on meditation alongside that on Yoga and Pilates, my Family History site will have to wait a tad longer.
Had ten minutes on the site and it cheered me up, some good posts, more importantly, I am not the only one with problems, so I gave myself a swift talking too. We live in a Victorian semi-detached house, which is nearly 130 years old, the back door into the garden has decided to rot, so we need a new one.
In the last thirty minutes or so have just signed the contract to have it replaced with a PVC one, so you might ask, what is good about that. At the turn of the year I could not justify buying the daily paper, now I can afford a new back door, despite the scammers. This has cheered me up no end. We are getting our lives back, albeit slowly
Whilst I was reading the mail realized that I had not done a blog this week so here we are. As always thanks for reading.

Hi Stuart your bit of good news has made my day a lot better, I mean the part about being able to replace the door.
I have been down a bit the last couple of days because I want to go on holiday, and unless the lottery gods smile on me it's not going to happen this year.
Your message reminded me that it is not where I am today but where I could be in 12 months time.

Yes, it is a good morning. We have sunshine, finally, after 7 days of rain. Rain total is 20.5 cm for the week. We normally have 9.4 cm for the entire month.
I remember being in London in June many years ago. It was 30C and very uncomfortable indoors.

Sometimes the little things in life make a big difference. For you it was getting a new door, for me it was replacing a rotting board on my deck that I've been putting off for about 2 months. It made me feel good I finally replaced the dang thing. Good post Stuart.
