Introduction

Good Morning to all at the wonderful WA Family on this really lovely, sunny December morning, after a very windy and storm lashed night (so my wife tells me - lol).

It has been a fairly hectic few days, which I expect to get even busier in the build up to Christmas, but I will continue to plod on and try to get this business really going.

The Last Four Days

As I expected Wednesday was a total write off as regards doing anything for the website or the business, it was to say the least very interesting. The wash up for Remembrance Sunday, in addition to my comments, brought out several things that I was not aware off. As I said at the meeting, the trouble with leading the Parade and then standing at the front at the memorial, means I cannot see, or be aware of what is happening behind me. Still we will know for next year.

The next meeting was a really good one as we laid out the plans for commemorating the 75th anniversaries of both VE and VJ day, there will be a mixture of music, reflection, a Church Service, a Drum Head Service, a picnic in the park, and a beacon lighting. Much to do, but it will be worth the effort.

Chaired the Branch Meeting in the evening, which went off without a hitch. The evening started with me receiving on behalf of the Branch a framed embroidered canvas of the Cenotaph in London. It was made by a gentleman who lost a leg during the 1st World War, he took to embroidery to help in his recovery. It was a great honour to receive it from his granddaughter. It will now hang in the local history centre.

Have spent a lot of the time researching and studying. Despite having a reasonable knowledge on funnels, have gone even more in depth. It has surprised me the differing approaches that can be used when constructing the funnel. Think that I now have over 12 different systems, it could be more. At least when I get the first funnel ready, I will be able to use a simple, basic one, then build up to the more complex ones.

Did some work on blogs, was amazed to find that I am not only doing it basically wrong, but very wrong. Here I am not talking about my blogs at the WA. but the blogs that I was doing on my website. It would appear that the content that I was writing was more, me, me, me, and not you, you, you. So a complete re-think is needed before I do anymore.

As usual have continued to add bits to files as I continue the never ending task of unzipping files.

You will all be amazed to learn that I have spent a little while on the WA. Decided to see what tasks I have yet to complete in both the Basic Certificate and the Boot Camp courses. Did not finish reviewing them completely, but did manage to complete a few tasks, including finishing off a module. What it has done is pointed out to me a few basic concepts which I need to study and learn, so hopefully I will spend a little time doing just that.

Last night hosted the Branch Christmas Dinner, an excellent meal with very good company. Also managed to sort out a Beer Tent for VE day. (Multi-tasking at a function, whatever next!)

The Next Three Days

Need to spend some times doing some studying on WA as I noticed a couple of modules which I do need to brush up on, or learn, might be a better phrase.

Will continue to get items ready for the website, talking of which, for sometime have been gathering information together, to eventually do a membership site. Had a slight change of thought, having read an article while researching, that I will instead have a newsletter. This can be on one of my existing website topics, with an opt-in page to lead people too it.

This is just an embryo at the moment, but is a serious thought.

Will continue to clean up the hard drive and file away as needed.

Could think of many things to do, but for once will try to accept that I also have another life, looking at my diary for th coming week that is so very true.

Conclusion

This week read a very interesting article regarding how we rush around in haste, in order that we can get something done. Feel that it can be aptly summed up as follows:

"It is never too late to start and never too early to finish"

Remember

President Obama finished at 55, President Trump started at 70.

Enough said!

Think that seeing the word count, which must be a record for me on a Sunday, will close, as always with.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.
