Introduction

Good Morning to you all at the WA, on a beautiful December morning here in South Derbyshire, the sun is shining, but boy is it cold.

Had a rather disjointed few days but have still managed to get quite a bit done, still think that this blog could be on the short side, not just due to not a lot to say, but on the grounds that my hands are freezing as I try to type this.

The Last Four Days

Had quite a lot of personal things to sort out and deal with. The car tyres needed sorting, two new ones and a leaky one. The two new ones were expected, but the leaky one which the garage said was OK, did not prove to be correct, so had my son-in-law replace it with the spare yesterday morning, as I was going out and just could not risk it. So, it will be back to the garage next week.

Dealing with the car has taken a chunk out of several of the last four days.

Friday evening was the annual switch on of the Christmas lights in the local town. Still on the 'A' list for invites for Civic functions, so off I went, it was, as usual a very pleasant occasion. The lights were switched on by Charles Hanson, who lives locally, but is quite well-known for his TV appearances on anything to do with antiques and auctions. He is a very pleasant man to talk to.

Had to have the obligatory photo taken for the local press, should mention that the photographer who was freelancing, is a cousin whom I had not seen for many years. so it was nice to catch up.

Yesterday was football with my son, the youngest grandson and eldest grandson, as always enjoyed their company, but the game was dreadful.

This morning have the roast pork in, got ready to do my LIve Chat, when my wife said can you do the Christmas Cards for the Family today in case they call round.

Should really try to put up a little Christmas Village which I have, as the Great Grandchildren do like to see the skaters and other bits which work. Did not bother last year, but am more festive and relaxed this year.

So my plans for the business today could be put on hold, the thing is that despite all my interruptions I am still fired up, so do not want to lose the momentum.

Have done the live chat, very quiet this morning, but always try to visit.

Managed to add another book to the pile for the new website, moving along slowly, am also managing to do some research and studying, but not a lot of either these past few days.

Last night did have a spare five minutes to look at an idea for a side hustle, had intended to spend at least two hours on it today, but that looks as if it s out of the window with other things now.

The Next Three Days

Will try to investigate the side hustle in more detail, if I like it, which I do at the moment will look at getting it up and running in the next few days, but as you all know have been there before with side hustles, but we will see.

Intend to continue spending what time I can on the new website, researching and adding articles, not forgetting more books.

The unzipping continues apace as does the filing, really can see where I am going with all that I am trying to achieve.

See from Kyle that month six is about to start, will try to fit it in sometime, along with the back log.

Conclusion

Looking at the word count, have surprised myself as I thought that if I did 300 today it would be an achievement.

Do have a plan of what I want to do this week, hopefully, apart from Wednesday have a clear diary this week, not forgetting to go shopping of course.

So it will be interesting to see what I can manage to achieve.
