Stuart at SAC - Week 33
Introduction
Good Morning to all at the wonderful WA Family.
Been a most interesting few days, managed to get some work done at long last though site launches and completed projects are a long way off, but I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The Last Three Days
Have as said above, done a reasonable amount of work, possibly not all that I intended to do, but nonetheless useful, and what is more am able to see what I have done.
Will start with the intention of the new website, it is still going ahead, but whilst planning things out realised that it would help if I took a step back and really checked what I was doing. So have decided to re-study the whole thing of setting up and running my website.
Knowing how long I have been here you no doubt think that I am crazy, but have not been satisfied for sometime with the layout or look of my sites, so will do this new one from the ground up, with hopefully some fresh ideas.
On the subject of the new site, have started to re-purpose three books. Covers designed, About the Author, Disclaimer and Introduction done on all three. Also, some rough content added to a couple of them, so am quite pleased with that.
Also have identified a couple of completed booklets which I can use as bonuses, with even more requiring a check first.
Continue to unzip files and put in their place, I am pleased that my latest idea of filing appears to be working. Over the years have tried several methods and ideas, still was managing to get lost. The new system, is simple, in my main download file I have a main folder for each major subject.
Such as E- Book Library, Graphics, Power Point, PLR, List Building, Social Media and so it goes on, it has meant moving some stuff about as I find it, as it was getting totally confusing, I seemed to be spending hours just looking for certain items. Inside each main subject file are the sub files. Just hope that this idea works.
Continue to visit daily chat, and as evidenced by this my two WA blogs a week. Also able to have a look at the next article for the website which I developed for the challenge.
The Next Four Days
The first thing that I will need to do is to allocate time each day for re-training myself in setting up, designing and developing a new website.
Adding content to the books for the latest project, with also more additional material as I find it. It does depend, but I find that I can discover an article and immediately know what to do with it, sometimes I even compile a few articles together, with a new title ready to use, when I get chance to alter them.
Continue to move files about and unzip as needed.
Conclusion
It does look as if finally I am starting to get somewhere, after all this time I certainly hope so, must confess since our money was returned, feel that the pressure is off, am more relaxed and with luck hope that the corner is finally turned. I certainly was doing too much silver dollar moments as I chased earning money.
Now I can forget all that, and only invest when I think that there is a need for that particular product in my business.
Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.
