Some Space At Last

Introduction

Good Morning All at the WA Family, from a storm battered South Derbyshire. Woke up this morning to find my Greenhouse virtually destroyed, will need to do a full assessment when the wind and rain finally die down, but it looks like it is finished.

When I came out of the stadium yesterday having been to football, have an average slope to walk up to get to the car. The wind was so strong that I really struggled to make the level car park.

Pleased to say that this has been a much better week for me, from the targets that I have managed to attain.

Amazed to note that I have now published over 150 posts.

The Last Four Days

At last I am starting to see the results of my removing clutter campaign. Whilst I have done little on the computer this time, spending the time sorting out the office. The piles of books, paper and note books are slowly diminishing.

Have the habit that if I am away, of buying large note books to write notes in, either on the train or in the Hotel room, result too many books with just a few pages written in them. These are being sorted. The problem that this has caused is numerous plastic slip in files now cluttering up my laptop desk. That is the only job that I will do today, put them away.

Continue as always to do my live chat daily, some days it can be really interesting reading about others problems.

As a break from the clutter have another book started with all the chapters in place, now needs a read, then another chapter sort, followed by some re-writing.

We discussed sometime ago about the dangers of using out-of-date or old material. Have come across some old articles on one of my core subjects, on reading just one of them, did realise that there is an up to date article there. Not the content but the basic gist and the headings. Result, last night I spent the last thirty minutes re-writing the first page, with fresh up to date material.

As they say "there is more than one way to skin a cat" with apologies to cat lovers.

Among the clutter found a "Cook Book" from Click Funnels, must have bought it a long time ago with the intention of subscribing, if I remember correctly, decided that it was too expensive.

Has anyone used them, or is using them? Would be interested in your comments please.

Must say that it is nice having some space in the office, to enable me to put things down in an orderly fashion, instead of just piling them on top of other piles.

The Next Three Days

Today will sort out and put away the files on the top of the laptop. Then it is Sunday so time for a few hours to relax. Have the leg of pork in the oven, cooking away nicely, the smell reaching my office which is upstairs, making me hungry.

Hopefully the next few days will be spent getting some content on to the website, then a good look at what I need to do next.

Decided that whilst I will have my jobs list for each day, will not put pressure on myself by making too many decisions. This way can look at a job that needs doing, then spend time doing it, with no time frame.

Will of course continue to remove what clutter I can from the computer, also the office as it does look better. The one thing that annoys me is the fact that whilst I am putting things away, or throwing them away, I am not working on the business.
