Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the WA Family, do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

The title is a little tongue-in-cheek, as in this mad world that we live in at the moment I am just not sure that we will ever get back to the world that we once knew.

Suppose the truth is that I am slowly finding my feet once more, having been without the internet for so long. At times I do wonder just how I managed without it, and at others, think well no stress to get things done. Certainly appear to be a lot calmer in myself. As, I do not stress about what needs doing anymore.

Have gone back to a sheet of paper for my to do list, happily striking off, or adding as the need arises.

The Last Few Days

The website has three articles proofed and in the can ready to go over the next three Wednesdays, starting tomorrow. Have written to a firm that I have used for a number of years, asking to become an affiliate, if they approve then the fourth article will be a review of their products. They sell blank forms, charts, paper for long term storage and other such useful bits of kit for the Family Historian or Genealogist (Just showing off)

Have gone back into social media training, a general subject that I know is a weakness of mine. Have started studying Instagram, whilst I have a private account, will open an account for the business, once I am clear just how I want things laid out. At the moment am finding it not only interesting, but at times fascinating. Another area that will be done, but again slowly, this is something that I have learned during my enforced absence from the site.

A little at a time, complete it, then move on to the next piece of work.

Have managed to order my potatoes and onions, also other plants as Spring is getting ever closer. Looking forward to the growing season this year, as my eldest Grandson, is being allowed to have a veg patch of his own. Have had a chat with him , so will start him off with some chitted potatoes and onion plants. Always start my onion sets off in trays, it gets a good root system started, and more importantly, the birds tend to leave them alone.

So busy clearing all the inboxes, that very else has been done. Almost caught up I think with what I had not been able to do whilst I was offline.

The Next Four Days

Tomorrow will see the posting to the site of my first article on Family History. Will continue to work on the next couple of articles, would like to get at least six weeks in hand by the end of February, this will allow me to concentrate on the garden for a week or two, that is assuming that we have some decent weather.

Hopefully will continue with my Instagram training and if possible go back into the book store to see the state of play there.

That I think will give me enough to keep me occupied.
