Introduction

Good Morning to all you lovely people at the WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

For once the title is not tongue-in-cheek, but very genuine, think that it is a little reaction to my second jab last week. Still a little tired today, but not so lethargic, everything was just too much trouble. Having said that, having given myself a good talking too, before I got up this morning, like the weather I am feeling much brighter, knowing me will just have to be careful that I do not go mad and overdo things. My head already hurts with my plans.

Once I have written this will prepare lunch, then watch the Funeral of The Duke. On behalf of the local Branch of The Royal British Legion, of which I am Chairman, did send the Queen a massage of Condolence

The Last Few Days

You will not be surprised to learn that I have not done a great deal, what I have done has been in short spurts until I got too tired or just could not be bothered to do anymore.

A lot of the time has been spent sorting out what files to send to memory sticks and what to just delete totally.

This has resulted in me finding half started side hustles and programmes, which I had long forgotten, still not sure what to do about them, one thought is to spend a day looking at them to see if they are going to be of any use in the future.

Whilst I have been sorting out, have come across a number of articles which I can use on some of my websites. Have put some into two outlines for books which I hope that I will be able to use in the near future.

Found, in my research a number of books similar to the manuscript that I have been writing for my project, this has made me think, should I continue with it, or, change tack. Do have other things which I can do, so have mailed my mentor for advice. Only did this last night, so await his reply with interest.

Have done live chat each day, still enjoy the banter, it usually helps perk me up, but it has been a struggle this week.

It will give you an idea how lethargic, or fed up I have been when I say that I have not submitted an article for my Family History site, the first time that I have missed doing so in three months. May feel like getting one done in the next few days.

Started to feel better, or more lively yesterday, this was when I discovered that I could watch Derbyshire play on my computer for free. The reason being that as a member, due to Covid cannot attend matches, the County have given us free access to the TV Channel. Watched a couple of hours, doing nothing else and it cheered me up no end.

Have managed the odd hour in the garden when I felt low, this has also helped. Since having had my second jab decided that after a year I could go shopping to the supermarket once more. Apart from not knowing where things are now, and getting a little worked up with people wanting to almost hold my hand, they were that close, did quite enjoy getting out again.

Whilst just dodging about the computer, have managed to visit my website that is almost running itself, whilst on there had a play with the graphic design suite, looking at different ways to make covers for my books.

The Next Few Days

This will depend on what my mentor has to say about things before I make too many clever decisions.

Will continue to visit live chat daily, continue to transfer to the USB's, when ready will get an article ready for the Family History Site.

Anything else I will leave to what I will call the wait and see file.

Conclusion

Given how I have felt this week, suppose that I have managed to do the odd useful thing, in someways do have a lot of ideas for the future, must learn, I think, to be more organised once more. If I do plan properly then it might help to progress better, appreciate that I do have jobs that I really do need to do. (Not forgetting the garden!!)

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.

Please do stay safe.

God Bless.

Stuart

I think my VH is feeling lethargic and tired because he missed his VW, pushing him. LOL

It sounds like you got a second shot. If that's the case, I've heard the same from many others. Tired - sore - out of sorts - headache, etc. By the time you read this, you should be feeling better.

However, you STILL did a lot more being in your state of mind that I have. I just returned from my trip to visit my son, friends and house hunt. It's overwhelming trying to catch up. My head is spinning!!!! I'm back though.

Your VW

So true missing my VW, the effects lasted just over a week, am feeling much better thank you, a little tired at times, but no longer so lethargic, am starting to get some meaningful work done again.

Pleased that you enjoyed your break and seeing your Son again. We have to make do with phone calls, though we do have the odd chat over he wall!

Take care and stay safe.

Your VH

Stuart, you are not alone!
I'm just getting back after months of WA idleness:)
Just the other day, while procrastinating, I just organized my desk and ran into a notebook! Notes on the book I want to start!
I figured that's an omen.
Taking simple actions when in a funk, helps me go through those "dragging" times.
Sometimes just opening my computer can be overwhelming hen I think of all that's ahead. Once I start, however, momentum kicks in, and I'm off to te zone!
Allow for regrouping time, and set a NEW goal!...Bob Proctor's tip!
Best, Stuart!
Barb

Thanks Barb, good advice,
Regards

Hi Stuart, I hope you feel better soon.

I am sure it is quite an honor to be Chairman of the Branch of The Royal British Legion. I know you were part of the Royal air force and I can see the connection. I think that was a great gesture to send the Queen a message of Condolence.

Best wishes,

Michael

Hi Michael,
Getting more with it by the moment. many thanks for your kind comments.

Stuart

You are very welcome Stuart. Even the strongest must take a break.

All the best,

Michael

Hang in there, Stuart! We all get lethargic from time to time! At least you have a lot to keep you busy! I find that often helps!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, I intend to .

I'm glad to hear that, Stuart!

Jeff
