Have I Got It Wrong?

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the WA Family, as always do so hope that you are keeping both safe and well.

You may recall in my last post I was having difficulty deciding just what to do next with regard to the number of websites which I have on WA.

First of all may I thank all of you who gave me some sage advice, most of which I have taken on board. The reason for the title to this post, is simple, whilst sorting through everything, I came across an old marketing magazine, which I decided to read. It was full of interesting facts, including what you should write about in your blog.

This got me thinking, when I went to two blogs a week as per a challenge from Kyle, I am pretty sure that it said to write about what I had been doing since the last one. On reading this article, it said do not write about what you have been doing, it is boring to most people. You should write interesting and informative posts, relate to facts and tell stories.

So when possible I am going to change this twice weekly blog post and divide it into three parts after the introduction.

A general post

What I have done since my last post

What I intend to do until my last post.

This Weeks General Post

Given the amount of work that I am about to undertake thought that it might be an idea to do a post on planning, and how I intend to tackle my problem with an overall plan.

There is an old, but very true saying:

"He did not plan to fail, he just failed to plan"

When I first became involved in sales, I was given some very good advice, the first thing that you must do each week is put in your diary the me or family things, such as:

The Weekly Shopping Trip

Pick up Children/Wife from school/ work

Family or relaxation time (Yes you can go for a pint!!)

If, you do these items first it will avoid conflict at home.

The second thing to consider is when are you at your best?

Morning, Afternoon or the Evening, and allocate them as Gold, Silver and Bronze Periods.

Me, my time periods look like this:

Morning - Gold

Afternoon - Bronze

Evening - Silver

As you are all aware recently have had a few problems, this has resulted in me spending more time procrastinating than working. When I realised this, I had to have a total sort out of everything, this has taken a few days, but the result, at the moment is this.

Morning - Visit Live Chat, check emails, (This all takes 15 minutes)

Re-vamp the Kitchen, also sort out the garden, go shopping if needed.

Afternoon - Some rest time, check on items to work on, prepare our evening meal.

Evening - Spend time on the business (On average I have between 5/6 hours each evening to do this.

My plan will not suit everybody, it is not intended too, it has been designed to fit around our lifestyle and allow me to also do jobs around the house and garden that need doing. This plan is for Monday to Friday, if I feel like it will also do odd tasks at weekends, but that is meant for some relaxation time.

It will also include my two WA Posts on Saturday and Tuesday

Hope that you have enjoyed my thoughts on planning, more importantly how I intend to get out of the mess that I am in.

The Last Four Days

Have had a long hard look at what I need to do, where to go and how to get their, feel that my basic outline plan will enable me to do this over the fullness of time, but we will see.

Many of you suggested that I make the Family History site my priority, this I intend to do, the latest article was sent on Wednesday, the next one is ready to go. May have a slight hiccup, in that the article after the next one was to be a review. This on a website that I use and intend to support, understand that their is no problem with me becoming an affiliate, just need to tie up a couple of loose ends first. At the worst do have other articles ready that can fill in.

Continue to be some 3/4 weeks ahead on this site, with regard to the articles that I have written

Some of you suggested that I could do a second site. A while ago I did start one, not on WA, this was quite well set up, but one I managed to forget about, until now that is. Had a look last night, intend to work on this site as well as the Family History one. If I get this going properly then it will almost be a side hustle.

Managed to put four free books on their last night, for those who visit my site to download. Will redo my advertising campaign for this site, but need to give it a good look first, do have other gifts such as PLR which I can offer. The handy thing is that with being ahead on the Family History site with regard to articles, it will enable me to spend some time getting this other site up and running in a better order than it is now.

In addition to the above have managed to sort out a lot of other bits and pieces, so not too bad so far.

The Next Three Days

Will complete another article for the Family History Site, posting the next one on Wednesday. All comments received so far have been positive, I am pleased to say.

Continue to work on what I will refer to as my second website, making it more accessible. This site does now have a click bank store attached, so must work on this as well, as I think that it could be good for business.

As an aside will make a start on the Kitchen and Bathroom revamps. It is still too wet to think about the garden.

As time permits go through other bits and pieces which I have and decide what to do with them, that is not going to be easy.

Conclusion

Feel that, even if it is slow, that I am making some progress, with regard with where I want to be over the next few weeks/months. Appreciate that the planner can change or be adjusted as my needs and thoughts alter or amend my thinking.

At last, I am trying to not complicate matters by overdoing things. (Said this before.lol)

Your thoughts on writing a blog on the WA site would be appreciated.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy,

Please do stay safe.

God Bless

Stuart

Glad to hear it, Stuart!

Steady and regular Stuart. Set your own pace.

Cheers Dave

Your plan seems reasonable. I write a blog per week per site.

Seems sensible.

Mate, I think you’re getting it together.
Well done.
Joe

Thanks Skipper
