Hard Work - But Fun

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

For once the title is a fairly accurate description of my doings for the past few days, I knew that my new project was going to be hard work, but did not realise just how hard or time consuming that it would be.

The Last Few Days

Apart from my daily visit to live chat my efforts have been almost entirely concentrated on the newsletter project, as a result this blog could be fairly brief. (No cheering please. lol.)

Have been analyzing the order which I had the various issues in, as a reult some major changes will take place, some items in, other ones out. This is to enable the reader to make sense of what I am trying to convey, in some sort of order. Should also point out that my intention was 5/6 page newsletters, so had begun to add articles of that length, now they are all eight pages have more material to find and add.

One idea that I thought of was to include an infographic, where possible, in each issue. This I have started to do.

Have also begun work on the bonus items and those which I wish to promote. It is no use me thinking that I will do just the odd bit here and there, as I do not think that will work. If you consider that I need for just one years worth of issues, twenty four items to promote at two per issue, also a good set of bonuses each month, you will get the idea of what I am trying to convey.

Suppose that over the year I could repeat the promotional items, but I will have to wait and see.

Will need a chat with my mentor, have got some sixteen issues with work started, but think that twelve at one per month is a better bet. Not sure if they all should be done before I start to try to sell them, or if I can get just some done then add to the autoresponder when I have them ready.

Have started to add items as I find them, to my project folder, already have begun work on items to promote, also one or two to use as bonuses. Looking ahead have also started project folders for two other domains which I have and will use when this one gets off the ground. Please do not worry, they are merely being added with the future in mind, so that I know where they are when I need them. At the moment I have no intention of doing any work on them.

My line of attack is as I come across items, which can relate to an issue in a newsletter, to file those in the hope that I can use them in that particular issue. Already have one EBook, which began life as a bonus, but will now, almost certainly be a promotion item, as it is not only getting large, but also really relates to an issue, hopefully my readers will also find it to be very useful.

Having said that all my time has been spent on the project, must confess did do a little work in the garden, put in two more .rows of onion sets, also hope to get some seeds sown this weekend.

The work which I have been doing has seen me back in my planning and organising mode, the snag is my printer is still not working (having said that, not tried it since I moved the ofice downstairs), so it has been back to the old fashioned paper and pencil (well pen actaully).

Hopefully you should be able to tell, that I am back to the old 'me' and totally fired up, certainly feel a lot better.

Forgot to mention that I have also done some training when I have found items that I needed refreshing on, think that we are always learning in this business.

The Next Few Days

Will do my usual daily visit to live chat, then it will be back to the newsletter, with all the associated bits.

However dependant on the weather intend to spend the weekend relaxing and gardening.

Tonight I intend to open a bottle of Merlot, as I feel like treating myself. Promise to only have a couple of glasses and not the bottle.

Will also contact my mentor to ask about a couple of things that I want advice on.

Conclusion

Fairly pleased with the amount of work which I have managed to do this week, also with my work ethic and attitude, much happier allround.

Must confess that my head has spun at times with what I have found to do, but have actually enjoyed it. Must keep on taking whatever has chnged my attitude and mood.
