Frustrated
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
The title reflects some problems that I have had this week, mainly in relation to the launch of my new website dedicated to blogging. Just could not get it to load properly using Gutenberg, but more of this later.
The Past Few Days
On Tuesday I went for my Winter Covid Booster Jab, while I was there had my Flu Jab as well. Result was two sore arms, but they are slowly getting a lot less painful.
At the start of the week, I made a list of things that needed doing once I got the blog working properly. This has been a no-go area as noted above. As a result, I have bought a new domain, again connected with blogging which I hope to work on this week. Will again use Gutenberg, probably after some training on it, just in case it is finger trouble.
Produced some blank Journal pages, as I felt that I was getting a little lost in remembering what I had done on the previous day. Each day I record notes on what I consider to be important to enable me to back track a lot easier. Also, can have the page open while I write this WA Blog.
Found a number of PDF files, which could prove to be useful in my education with regard to learning how to do things properly on both my websites and the web in general. They could be personal use only, but reading never does hurt, does it.
Used one of my, as yet unused domains to practice Gutenberg with. Will have to see how this pans out before I work on my new Domain. Have been able to use the legal pages and others which I wrote for the now abandoned site, just amended the domain detail.

One for you to ponder. As you know I love quotations, just cannot always be bothered to look up suitable ones. Must try harder [That reminds me of my school days).
Having not used my blogging notes for last week, at least I have some work prepared or this coming week.
The Next Few Days
In addition to the last sentence, will attempt to launch the new website. Must admit, did revert back to Kyle's training, but obviously got it wrong somewhere. However, will not give up as I have a lot of ideas how to push this forward. This means that I now have the bit between my teeth, which also indicates that I will keep going until I get it right. Having said that when I turned off the computer last night, had one of those silly light bulb moments. It is just possible that I know what I am doing wrong.
It will depend how tired I get, whether I have a go tonight, or wait until I am fresh in the morning.
Whatever I decide, my target this w eek will be to launch the new blog website.
Conclusion
Last night I attended the switching on of the Christmas Lights in the town centre, at the invitation of the Local Council. The Chief Executive, told me that I will be on the 'A' list for invites, as long as I want to be, as a thank you for my past involvement with the local area. I was aware. but it is always nice to reminded.
A very pleasant evening, pizza and chips, with a nice glass of red wine. It was also nice to see people that I have not seen for a long time.
In some ways I have been brought down to earth this week, not knowing what I have done wrong with regard to the new website. This is one of the reasons that I like to do some training and research each week.

I've been a terrible VW lately. Tonight I'm going to bed early. I have been running everyday getting ready for Christmas but I did want to touch base with you this week.
I stayed in VA for Thanksgiving this year....the first time in YEARS!!!! I think my exMIL was disappointed but they had a lot of snow and I have a LOT to do! However, I did promise to go up for Christmas early. That means my perpetration time is compressed.
I have company coming this Sun just for the day but it's a day I could have used. I didn't want to tell her no as she gets lonely I think. I have to look "lonely" up in the dictionary! LOL
The quote is a good one AND Debbi Fields obviously spells her name correctly. lol Don't get frustrated. Sometimes it takes walking away and coming back with fresh eyes. I know my memory will need to be refreshed when I get back her on a more regular basis. It's not even a matter of age but too much on our plate and mind.
Anyway, deep breath in (with the good) and full breath out (with the bad). It will be calming. I know there's not much of the week left but do try to enjoy and take everything one step at a time.

Hi VW,
You are not a terrible VW, a gorgeous one yes, when I do not hear from you, I just worry that you are OK.
I only get frustrated with me when I cannot get things to work properly. Suppose that it is an age thing, that I am not as savvy as I used to be with the modern world.
Impressed with all the running that you are doing, do make myself walk on the odd time I go into Town, that is assuming that I do not have heavy bags to carry. It is a mile or so uphill, and steep ones at that.
Have my laser assessment tomorrow, so hopefully I will get my left eye done.
Do take great care dear lady, write when you can.

Just to clarify.....when I say "running", I don't mean that literally. It just means I'm walking (albeit pretty fast) from place to place trying to get prepared for Christmas in NY. I get at LEAST 3 miles in every day just moving around.
I don't do actually running for fun or any reason except maybe if a bear or someone was trying to kill me or harm one of my children (that mama bear syndrome).
Good luck with your laser assessment. Don't forget to study (just kidding). I'll send you prayers for success.

Pleased that you run like I do, I was getting worried, in fact wondered what you were taking. lol.
I am doing some studying, in fact quite a lot, now realise where I have been going wrong!!
