Buzzing Once More
Introduction
Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are keeping both safe and well.
Finally got over my reaction to the second jab, albeit only a few days ago, so am now firing on all cylinders, given my age it is possibly not as many as it once was!!!.
The weather these past few days has certainly made me feel a lot better as well, often think that the sun shining brightly does change how we feel. Even done some gardening, not as much as I wanted due to trying to playing catch up on the business.
The Past Few Days
Done the usual live chat daily, always the first thing that I do, also noticed that I have slipped out of the top 100 once more, but as you know I do not worry about that, as it does not make me any money.
Contacted my mentor for some advice regarding changing my project from a manuscript to a newsletter. He has given me a load of suggestions, as well as really good advice, which I am beginning to implement.
Did ask him about a 12/16 issue newsletter of some six pages each. The advice that I got back was to make it eight pages, that is if I could format the newsletter to do it. Do have an old newsletter which I intended to use as a template, having spent a while playing with it have produced sixteen eight page newsletters already to have content added to them. In fact they all now have a few pages of content added, just need to add more, tweak what I have, add more content and graphics.
Having just read the above, do wish that it is going to be that easy, in addition to articles, graphics and other bits, have got to sort out the material which I am going to promote within each newsletter. Then comes the fun of promoting and persuading people to buy it. If it does work out OK, then I will have a source of residual income, which is always a good idea.
My mentor has also given me some extra training to help with how to use my website in the future to bring in more business, must confess did not dream of such an idea. This is going to be done after I have the newsletter up and running, but could in time be the front of my business
In addition to the detail mentioned, will need to sort out the autoresponder and email messages, have to admit, despite the work involved am getting quite excited by the prospect that I could (WILL) have the chance of seeing some income come in.
Due to the amount of work that I am having to undertake at the moment have suspended adding any more articles to my Family History Website, this is also due to the fact that I have run out of completed articles to publish. No doubt I will get back to it one day.
Have done some work moving files to the USB's, all my new work now has its own memory stick.
If any proof is needed that I am in fact in a different state of mind, this morning I produced an action plan for next week, this is something that I will try to get back into the habit of doing weekly.
The Next Few Days
Apart from visiting Live Chat and doing some training, which my mentor has given me, will be devoting my time to the newsletter. Appreciate that I may not see a lot of progress to start with, as so much needs to be done to get things sorted out, but I will be giving it my best shot.
Have also decided that most of my weekends will be spent doing things for me, such as gardening and other activities, this is to avoid me getting over tired on the computer, or bored just doing the newsletter.
But knowing me we will just have to see how things pan out.
Conclusion
You will gather that I am a lot happier within myself, finally I can really see what I am aiming for, will have to be very strict with myself, that if things do not go quite right, then I must work it out and not rush off and do something else.

Your work seems very organised and going the right way, well done. Weekends off is good, it gives you time to relax and then get back to it refreshed.

Like you, I have times of stepping away from WA to do things in the yard...mowing, weeding, burn pile. My favorite is picking up sticks and burning them. I’m glad you have gardening.

Thanks Lynn, I am very lucky both my father's parents and Aunt were brought up with gardeners and had their own, they all showed me what to do. This I now pass onto my children and grandchildren.

Glad to hear you have your goals firmly in sight once again. You have given some really good advice by saying "if things do not go quite right, then I must work it out and not rush off and do something else". That's a bad habit a lot of us need to kick.

See, I told you that you just missed your VW. LOL. Glad you're feeling better and more upbeat. You never cease to amaze me with all that you do--which is a lot. I've come to realize many people even MY age don't do anything but play cards, Bingo and sit in front of the boob tube. That will NOT be us!!!!!!
