A Question of Copyright
Recently there have been a number of posts regarding copyright of members contents. I mentioned recently that I was sorting out the large number of files which have gathered on my PC. Tonight whilst sorting out one of the folders I came across the title "WA Terms and Conditions" on readin it, this is for use on our websites.
Most importantly it contains a very in depth paragraph on the copyright of our sites.
Have no double checked its location but would think that it is the same area as the Privacy Policy.
Hope this helps.
Until he next time,
Stuart

Hi Stuart
I've looked in the Templates at SiteContent, but it doesn't seem to be there? Or did I somehow deleted it from my Templates by mistake?

Hi Sharlee,
Do you think that I would be penalised if I copied what I have and submitted it as a post!
Hi Stuart
I would be hesitant to do that Stuart. I always err on the side of caution. I would probably have PM'ed Kyle, told him that others were asking about this, maybe he just didn't think of adding it as a template to SiteContent for us?
One of the "veterans" (Loes / Robert boomergp08 / Nathaniell / Jay Magistudios) will be able to give you a better answer than I can. ;-)

Thanks for that, must have downloaded it when I started three months ago, but where from I just do not know, it is a WA document. Was only trying to help those who kept asking about copyright, think that I will leave it alone for now, that seems the safer bet.
I'm so sorry if someone feels they have to plagiarise to write an article or post. I know sometimes it happens accidentally. But, too often, it is on purpose. We all need to strive to write our own content in our own words. I want my site to represent me, not anyone else. My words. My thoughts. Besides all that, I can't afford to plagiarise. You can be sued for plagiarism. Come on guys, just write your own content. That way, we are all safe.

My wonder however is instead of the wrong thing, you are permitted to place post in your blog via url of the post. You promote the ideas for the owner and win as well.
Well, may be I have not got why it must become a copyright issue.
Some of our members wish to copyright their post, which is why I raised this post, hope that explains it.
