A Little Bit Longer

Introduction:

Another intriguing title I can hear say, or what is he on about now. It is quite simple really as we enjoy the last Sunday of the Year, even if it is dull here in the Midlands.

Those of you who read my Sunday ramblings will be aware that for some time I have been attempting to do a number of things:

  • Sort out my documents on my PC.
  • Start a blog which I am passionate about.
  • Work to a planner.

Up Date:

Whilst I was sorting out my files in the documents file I discovered a number of things, apart from the mess that is.

The large number of shiny objects which I have bought over the years which are gathering dust on my hard drive, I know what a waste of money. This has set me thinking, without detracting from my plans that I really must do something about them.

Put them in my planner and have started to sort them out. Have managed to now list and locate them. Just have to see what they all do, as with the passage of time cannot honestly remember, they must have been bought for a reason.

Among the items which I have discovered is a planner which I downloaded from one of the PLR sites which I use, having opened it can find a use for at least two of the plans in there. It is alright having my main planner, but felt that I know need one that is dedicated and laid out for my website.

This will contain the entire campaign plan in daily format, do appreciate that some days may not always be completed, but the idea is there to keep me on track.

It is vital that I have my gifts, bonuses, emails and autoresponder all set up before I go too mad on the site. Though it is my intention to launch it in the next few days when I have a number of blogs ready, this will enable me to drip feed them in once a week whilst I do the other tasks required.

Another planner will be used for all the other bits which I want and need to keep my eye on in more detailed form, such as which week I am going to start my income streams, what do I need to look at next, and so it goes on.

Talking of my new site, have been told by WA that it is listed on Google, this is great, but it has not been launched yet, did not think that this was possible!

This will not detract from my daily planner which just contains a daily jobs to do list, but laid out for the week. Really am trying to get organized, as usual my work with The Royal British Legion will impinge on some of this.

The next few weeks sees the Annual Conference's for my four Counties am a guest speaker, the first one is this Saturday and I have not yet even started my speech, partly due to the fact that the guidance notes have only just arrived. This could and probably will interfere with my new plans.

Did begin to look at one my shiny objects last night, hate to admit it but it really is quite good, so is now on the planner for the future.

Conclusion:

In closing, discovered this week that I do not need to be tied to the computer for hours on end, gave myself Christmas Day off, guess what it made such a difference to my outlook on life. Will now ensure that all I will do on a Sunday is the WA Blog, unless that is I get bored and want to play on the PC for an hour or so.

Any newbie reading this do plan a day off a week or at least just do an hour or so.

This week no quotes as I am working on some new ones, instead of just downloading from file.

In closing may I wish you and your loved ones:

A HAPPY, PEACEFUL AND VERY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

Stuart

All the best for 2019! 😊

To you also.

Stuart having read your post I notice that you have bought PLR planner. You really should have that on sale on your website

What a good idea, never gave it a thought. Suppose that it would sit OK on my new site, many thanks.

When I was into my running, it was very important to have at least one idle day a week to allow the body to recover from the rest of the week’s physical exertions. With the brain being another part of the body, the same must apply to mental exertion, too. So I say, yes, you are right, give the brain one day off a week to recover.
Have a happy and prosperous new year,
Steve.

Thanks Steve to you also.

Hi Stuart,
I can see you will be busy with the organization of your stuff. Hopefully there are some of those purchased items can be used now.
Have a prosperous new year.

Joe:)

Joe, the more I like at them the more that I realise that I have just squirreled them away, not any more.
