151,000 Words
Introduction
Forgive me using large script, as I am having to use my laptop as the desktop PC has crashed, and I cannot really see the normal size script. A thought does occur to me, if i type this out can then reduce it after I have checked it, may not work of course.
The title says it all, in fact it is almost 152,000 words, realise that most of you have done many more, but I am still quite pleased with what I have achieved as I do spend a lot of time doing other things. What surprises me is that I am in the top 99% of the site for written word which I have been for a year or two. Would have thought that I would be a lot further down the list than that.
General Thoughts

Having the PC crash, especially with lockdown has caused me more problems than I can ever remember. Rarely use the laptop these days, so I had to connect it to the mains, fortunately since I moved the office to downstairs, do have a spare socket. This has of course also recharged the battery.
What concerns me more is the fact that my protection may be up the spout, however as always will soldier on, and sort something out when I have a minute.
Think that I am fortunate that I could get into WA via the laptop, also read some e mails, which will reduce the number to read when I get back online.
The Past Week
Have to confess that since the PC crashed on Thursday cannot really recall a great deal. Do know that I posted another article on the Family History website, that could start to be delayed if I do not get things sorted out, as everything is on there, so can no longer add articles.
Will also have to try to see if I can access the other site on this, that could be fun!
Do recall that I did get a few files sorted out, also that I was able to start to put some other bits together, however as a lot went on to my memory stick, cannot really access that in case I damage it, by just yanking it out!
Do recall trying to get the advertising in some sort of order, think that the intention was to check which sites I was going to use, also to find my sales copy for the last time that I did some advertising.
This Coming Week
At the moment have not got a clue what I will be doing, it will depend on how I get on when I try to sort things out tomorrow.
Not sure if anyone can help, but a number keeps coming up saying urgent attention is needed phone this number. Did contact someone who is really good on computers and he was baffled by the message.
One thing comes to mind, I can always go through my pages of old notes, and see what can get me ready for starting again.
Conclusion
Forgive more this week as I really am not in the mood, the one good thing is that I have nearly finished decorating and altering the kitchen.

Congrats on your writing success! I don't know how old is your computer friend. But if it is older than 9-10 years, then you might want to consider buying a new one. The computers now come with insane memories and Terabyte Hard Drives, which they can handle almost any tasks. This way you don't have to worry about crashes, memories, or storage spaces. All the best!

I hope you had a lot of stuff backed up from your desktop. I'm bad about that if mine crashes. I work on both my desktop and laptop daily but I find the desktop easier to get around on. You might have to get a new desktop depending on how old yours is. They're almost not worth repairing anymore. We currently live in a disposable world (UNFORTUNATELY).

Think that you could be right, do have some stuff on memory sticks, but NOT my family , which has taken thirty years to compile, I know my fault, will get it sorted.
Trouble with the laptop is I have great difficulty seeing what I am typing or reading as I cannot remember how to magnify.
