Hi Rachel,
This is totally normal to be reluctant at first in sharing your posts with the social media. I at first had second thoughts too, but than I got an idea. I already had a page created on FB (besides my personal one) about my energy work I am doing. So I did another page with the title of my website (my niche) and later again, another FB page for my second website (promoting WA with).
This has the advantage that you as a person can be kind of be "Invisible" to your family and friends, but will be visible for the general public.
I also entered some groups on FB, which are close to my niche to find people to like my site, and it works.
Since I am also posting my posts on these FB pages, I got more traffic to my websites as well.
So, it can work out that way and you can still have your personal FB account for your things you like to do besides online marketing.
I hope that helped a bit. :)
All the best to you
Sylvia
Any else have a mental block to social sharing?

Hi, I have the same issues. Presently I add things to FB because I write about mountains so I hope it may be interesting to others because of nice photos. However, my other site is supposed to be more commercial and I have no intention of annoying anybody with this. Just to know you are no alone. Jovo
