getting your site framework up here is possible within 1 minute.
learning how to create content is easy enough. you can create the words offlline and copy and paste or use a progam wich can eport in wordpress format and import it.
so use a wordprocessor you are used to and save it without formatting - wordpress doesn't like word formatting.
so how is wix easier that wordpress to create content?
possibly with the site widgets and customising- but that doesn't take too long to learn, just a bit of patience and the right attitude.
I reckon you can beat this system into submission easily.

But can you change from wordpress here - no sorry.
although on your own domain - i wonder of you can use ftp to upload a html site and have wordpres on it as well- hmm might have to have a play.

However, I would recommend spending the time to learn it step-by-step by following the training here. In the long run it will be a lot better for your website and business than for example to use Wix.

It is a nightmare at first, especially if this is your first go at it. However, if you plan to be in this business it is a nightmare that you are better off turning into a dream. These lessons are designed to take you through the process step by step. You may have to go through some of them more than once, I know I did. If you get stuck ask questions all day long or just search for an article or training that has already been written (9 times out of 10 there is one). Every day you will get better and build confidence. You can always go to places like fiverr and get help but don't put all of your eggs in that basket. Trust yourself, breakdown and get through the overwhelm. I promise you whatever difficulty you have right now will pass and you will conquer it.
