Had an interesting interview for a job. Thought I'd Share.
Had an interview that I didn't really want. The conversation seemed to go well though. I ended up talking to him about affiliate marketing and what I was doing, or trying to do. When I was asked how much I was looking to get paid I told him $18 an hour. Granted I'd love to make more but don't expect it unless it's from affiliate programs. It felt like I was doing better off then he was. He seemed a bit run down. I mean to be honest he might be doing better than me money wise but money is not the key to happiness. More like a door and how you look at your life. I didn't put out that vibe that I was begging for a job. Just a friendly conversation and meeting with a stranger. He said he could only pay $10 and hour. At my current job in a box job a.k.a. cubical job I'd get paid that in a month. Now that's just sitting on my butt taking calls in a warm office. I'd rather keep the crappy job that helps fund my affiliate goals then a back breaking job for a 20-year-old person. I'm 40 and not a spring chicken. My body is getting old but my mind is still here. Just thought I'd share a few words to my fellow money making friends. Oh and I upgraded today to a premium member before my discount ran out. Figured if I'm going to make an online website I should have the best site I can make. I gotta stay dedicated and if keeping blogging to you folks is doing it then that's the path I choose. Stay well today and keep up the positive attitude. Even thought I have to still go to my box job in a few minutes.
