Setting up the WA email and Wordpress User are independent of each other.
A WA email is set up for your Contact page. The only way it appears in WP is if you put it in the contact page. It is not part of Wordpress.
You can setup up your username in WordPress itself. When doing so note the roles you wish to assign...
So when you set up your domain email it doesn’t create a new user. You have to set up your gravatar by going to the gravatar website. :) It’s a quick process. Once set up you’ll be able to leave comments on websites, etc.
These are big steps you’re taking! Who would have thought you’d have not only your own website but your own professional domain email? Nicely done.

First you set up your email, a webmail or forward Setting Up A Domain Specific Email Account Then you head to Gravatar.com and set up there.
When you leave comments, you may want to add the email address associated with your gravatar to be able upload.
