I went to edit a page, and the visual editor went completely blank....
text OK, just no visual....anybody in the same boat, and/or have
an answer?
Paul
I went through that a couple of weeks ago, with on my posts. I opened up a support ticket, and they attempted different things, to no avail. Luckily it was only 1 post, which I ended up deleting.
Rochelle, Steph here (below this post) had a simple answer
that worked for me...just a "hiccup" in the system!
Hi Paul:
I have had that happen from time to time. When that happens, just log out and do something else for a few minutes (respond to WA email, offer feedback, welcome new members, etc) and then go back in. You may need to log out and log back in a couple times. I occasionally get those little "hiccups" in the system too.
Steph
Thanks Steph, for the quick reply. I hope it's just
as simple as that.
You were right on the money! It's good to go.

Hello Fellow WA' ers!
I've got what I think is a problem with Google Analytics...I have been getting
hits in the "Audience Overview" section, but I know for a fact that n
I have had that if you are looking in real time, it could also mean that no one is on your site at the time of collecting information
hi Katie, I guess they must all be visiting the site when I'm in bed asleep, which is about 5-6 hrs a day!
I hope someone steps in, I would like to know the answer. Try your question on the search bar, to see if anyone has covered this topic?
Hi Rochelle..seems like there's a question
on every other topic except what I typed in..
.I'll be patient and wait....
Rochelle, I'll check it out...Thanks....If I find the answer,
I'll post it here for you to see!

is there a way to remove old inactive referrals from my list?
If you're talking about your WA referrals - no you can't remove them from your list.
You can however unfollow them if you wish

I created categories and put them on my menu bar. When you click the menu item it shows all the posts for the category in a blog roll. So you can have numerous "blog rolls" on your menu. The training link Nathaniell gave should show how to do this. Not sure if this is what you want but if you look at my site, "reviews" is a category. Click on it and you'll see all the posts for that category, same with "articles" and "free stuff." http://toolsforquilting.com/
Yes, the about is a static page, home page is a blog roll but you can choose like in Nathaniells training. Labman also did training on custom menus HOA Part 2: How To: Custom Menus. :)
You can change it back and forth from a static page to your latest full post or just an excerpt!
Yes, read the link Nathaniell provided its pretty self explanatory, but when in doubt Youtube is loaded with great information on just about any topic.
Does this answer your question? Static Pages and Blog Rolls
This one may be what you're looking for, I'm not sure: Creating A Category Page
what do you mean
as for your front page - you can either choose your latest posts (which would make it dynamic) or a static page
whether a post or a page, it stays the same until you (admin) go in and change it
whether it can be accessed from the menu bar can be controlled using Custom Menu
hope this helps
a Custom Menu can be changed whenever you want to, you can add items (post or page), you can delete
however, you do not want to be changing it everyday
interesting. WP dashboard, > settings > readings ..... there is only a reference to the home page having that option.
I thought it would save a lot on website congestion
to have everything (tabs) in one bar, for simplicity
it's interesting. there is a balance between simplicity and looking full. We want our sites to look clean and simple, but busy at the same time so that people will stay and look around. Blessings and wisdom
