I have been with Wealthy Affiliate a little over 6 month and so far I can say that I really like it, but cannot quite say Im 100% in LOVE with it. And part of this reason is because of me and a little bit of Wealthy Affiliate.

When I first started Wealth Affiliate in march of 2019, I felt love was surrounding me in every angle. Before I joined Wealthy Affiliate in March, I had been with another affiliate program called Legendary Marketer in Dec.2018. And I have to say, the community at legendary marketer was agressive and mean to me since I was very new to affilate marketing, and I felt like they treated me like a stupid kid (although I was 18 at the time and was trying to find my path in affiilate marketing).

So after leaving Legendary marketer with an aching heart and feeling dumb and lower than a person, I decided to look for another marketing company that would treat me much bettter. This of course four months later was Wealthy Affiliate. I liked the idea that it was free for the first 7 days so I joined immediately, and the instant I joined, a large group of people welcomed me and even offer to help me. I really liked this because again I felt like I got the boot at legendary marketer just because I was needing extra help. So this instantly had me hooked and I’ve been here ever since.

I also liked how the training was crisp and clear for anyone new (like me) to understand what affiliate marketing even is and how it works. So not only did I feel welcomed in the Wealthy Affiliate Community, but I also felt that the training Kyle had was simplistic and easy for me to understand. Which is a win-win for anyone new and trying to find there space in the online career world.

But Although I really liked Wealthy Affiliate right off the bat, I felt like I barely had 30 minutes to learn and complete the trainings. As a result, I was working only 2 hours a week on Wealthy Affiliate. This is the only flip side to Wealthy Affiliate for me. If you cannot commit at least one hour a day (6-7 hours a week), then it is very easy for you to fall behind on your training and your blog you've created will be slow at success. Therefore, I noticed within the second month at Wealthy Affiliate that you have to complete at least one hour per day of work in order to be successful at WA.

In fact, some people at WA say that people need to create 8-10 blog posts per month, or 2 to 3 blog posts a week in order for the blog to become successful and start to get rankings into google. And creating one blog post in itself can take several hours or even a whole entire day if you want comments on your new article you just posted.

So in other words, the one thing that I have found challenging with Wealthy Affiliate is having at least 1-2 hours per day to keep up my website and Wealthy Affiliate account up and running successfully. In my journey, I find that in order to be successful here, you'll need to commit 7 - 14 hours per week. But this is very possible, even if you have a full time job.

The best way to do this is to get up 2 hours early in the morning if your a morning person, or stay up 2 hours late if your a night person. Work around your schedule, for me since I don't have a 9-5 job and I'm self employed with my other side hustles, I try to get up as early as 5:30am and work on Wealthy Affiliate till 7:30 or 8am. This way I can get it crossed off my list early and I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day and I am getting one step closer to being successful at Wealthy Affiliate Everyday. I just started doing this a month ago and I'm already seeing progress in my work at Wealthy Affiliate and blogs paying off!

To sum up my entire experience with Wealthy Affiliate, I'd give it a 7.6/10! It gets a C+ because the community is quite helpful and the training is very simplistic that Kyle does, he makes it so much easier to understand how to be a successful affiliate marketer.

The last thing I want to add my personal journey with Wealthy Affiliate is that I have ran into problems that I figured out myself. I learned here that when I struggle and find a solution, I can create my own training to teach people my challenges and what I did to overcome them.

That's another bonus I like about Wealthy Affiliate, is that you can share our own struggling with others and train people of how you overcame them. So If anyone is new and feels that they have conquered some challenges, share it with people in WA and create your own training or post that can help others out. This will of course help the community, but it can also get you more followers in the WA community and get you higher WTA rankings. Then, your followers will most likely follow your blogs and visit your sites more, which can get you more traffic and you can rank higher in Google rankings. But in order to do this, you have to be a with WA for at least 3 months to post your own trainings in Wealthy Affiliate.

So good luck everyone, hope you like my post about my journey here at Wealthy Affiliate and let me know in the comments if you have any questions/comments you want to share :)

Welcome, Kamaiyah, to Wealthy Affiliate.
You have come to the right platform to learn how to build an online business. You should have gone through some of the lessons. Why not continue with the rest, when you are ready? You are doing great. I think you are good at analyzing and are able to explain it well. Keep it up and all the best to you. Have a wonderful journey here in WA.

I'll admit that it's hard work here sometimes, but what I love about it is it's work at your OWN pace. There aren't any requirements except those which one places on themselves. If you want to hit it big, then it's going to take hard work and sacrifice. There is no get-rich-quick schemes here. but people can get rich, and have gotten rich here--just depends upon how much you WANT it! That pretty much goes for anything worthwhile in life! Best continued success to you here and congratulations on your six-month milestone!

Jeff

Congrats on being at Wealthy Affiliate for 6 months! I loved this blog post for its honesty! I'm glad you liked it here. I can see you're intelligent enough to make it, though you are right, it does take time!

That said, you don't NECESSARILY need to post 2-3 times a week if your outside schedule does not allow it. If you post every single week on a Wednesday, you can still achieve something, especially if you don't want to just churn out content that isn't that great because you are strapped for time.

I'm of the belief, which is a little different from most here, that one post a week that is GOOD is better than 2-3 posts that are mediocre or not so good.

I post once a week on Friday, every Friday, on my new site. It's only 4 months old and has had a sale already. My posts also tend to be longer this way, and I am able to step away from the post to give myself a break and come back to it for editing right before posting it.

It also helps me stay on schedule to have a schedule to do it. If someone finds they have time to do two posts a week, they can then bump it up too. As long as you're consistent, and keep your quality up, it's not how OFTEN you post, but how consistently you push out quality.

That said, you can do the exact same thing you're doing to get more posts a week, by showing that push to get up early or stay up late.

Like you, I have a day job. Once a week is working in a BIG way for me on a site that is only a couple months old. I've had a post go viral, I've gotten subscribers, and I've even had a sale.

Don't let the whole "You have to spend 20 hours a week writing" discourage you, especially as sometimes we don't HAVE that time. It's about prioritizing, of course, but sometimes WA isn't the #1 priority because job means food for your kids or yourself or your rent.

Congrats on your WA anniversary. Good luck to you!

Thank you Selenityjade for your comment! From my personal experience, I just feel that the more hours I put in, the closer I get to becoming successful. But I guess one post per week is possible to have a sucessful blog. I never knew that until now as I was told by another affiliate that 2 - 3 post per week is idea. But thank you for sharing that you've had success with one post per week in your blogging! :)

Youre welcome! It is touted around that 2-3 posts per week are ideal. However, like you mentioned, it can be difficult to find the time with a day job! And if you start out with one consistent post per week, with more practice and persistence, you may feel you can bump it up to 2 posts.

WA training is excellent, definitely. But I also watch successful bloggers who I happen to really like. Some only post once a week. Some blogs with multiple writers can post daily or multiple times a day! Some repurpose old content as well as one new post.

I just didn't want you to get discouraged or rushed to push it out if you're not able to keep a 2-3 post a week schedule. It's not as if you're being lazy about it, but a job is kind of important for living! Lol.

Definitely, pushing yourself to be consistent and productive is awesome. But don't burn out, either. :)

Great milestone!, Well done.

Thank you Mega Winner!
