Not that I'm an expert but you should be able to rejoin wealthy affiliate pretty easily just use your old sign in and pay for premium (but you can't be a Starter member since you've upgraded).
To the more important question if you are able to add plugins to siterubix you should be able to transfer your site. The plugin that will help you do this is called all in one wordpress migration.
Hope you get everything heading in the right direction and are able to rejoin in the near future! I totally understand the money situation...

It's worth a shot to try it... but Loes says it won't work and she has 4 more years of experience than I do with WA. Read the other conversation we are having below as there might be another solution if it doesn't work :).

Ok so another question is the content owned by WA then since it's on Siterubix?

If she wanted to she could literally just copy and paste her article titles and content into Microsoft Word or something similar. Then upload them to her new site?

Just go through the training. FTP is the best way to transfer data.

My opinion:
Since you are already a premium member, might as well buy a new domain. However, if you think you want to create your site on sub-domain because of budget, that should be okay as transferring from siterubix to your own domain is quite straight forward.
But if you have budget now, I would recommend to build your site straight on your own domain.

You cannot transfer a siterubix sub domain name, then only to an owned domain name

No, you are free to transfer or copy your own content to an owned domain or to a word doc

The export back up is not sufficient, I hope you used FTP Backup Your Website With FTP
Just go through the training. FTP is the best way to transfer data.
