WA does not need to support plugins, as plugins are to be installed on your website, which may reside on WA hosting servers, but is a separate website from WA.
There are several tutorials and blogged tips on adding Amazon links... some offer advice on adding links WITHOUT the need of any plugin. Have you checked through those yet?
Reducing the necessity of plugins will help you website load faster too.

I meant to say not supported on WA-hosted websites. The support team said some of those plugins pulled data from Amazon and slowed down the servers.
Yes, I know how to add affiliate links manually, but it is so time-consuming :-(. Plus, sometimes the images are usually so tiny (even when I select "large" images on Sitestripe).
I try as much as possible to decrease the number of plugins on my website, but I admit that it is sometimes hard to do without some plugins.:-)

You are correct that any plugin that pulls information from ANY website will not function properly on WA hosted servers.
They tend to be resource hogs too, so really a good fit if you want your website to rank well in Google searches.
In running a quick Google search (see the 1st screen print below), I was served up with some intriguing options that MIGHT work for you. If you use the exact phrase to do YOUR Google search you should discover the same options I saw.

It's possible I had visited some of those sites. I'm just not sure whether I can use those plugins on my website. I downloaded and installed Amazon Auto Links about 2 days ago, but because it is giving me a lot of trouble, I am looking for what works on other WA members' websites.
I guess I'll just have keep testing or insert those links manually.

Someone's interest in buying my website. The website is currently making on average $150/mth. I know most internet marketers suggest multiplying the average
One of the Ambassadors, Nethaniell, did a blog post with some very helpful info on selling websites. Here it is Your Website For Sale! From reading what he says, it seems the general rule of thumb is 3 x the annual income, so ($150 x 12) x 3 = $5400.

It really depends on the person buying it. Kind of on where you are selling it. On Flippa the sites I check out that are making $100 to $150 per month sell anywhere from $500 to $1,000.
I am sure there are some that sell higher just that I cap the upper amount at $1,000 for sites in this income range.
If somone contacted you directly it could mean they are willing to pay a premium. Or could be they are hoping for a steal.
It is so hard to give a number because from a sales perspective because it really is worth however much you can get someone else to pay for it.

12-24 months is the standard according to Flippa and Sedo so the new owner can be in profit within 2 years even if the income doesn't grow.

I calculated the average earning for the past 6 months. If I have to calculate the average for the last 12 months, that's going to make approximately $160/mth.

this way you are not relying on this article to rank now.

worth keeping an eye on pr as you are competing on pages rather than the whole site.
if the pr is weak and the da is high you can still beat it with a very relevant page.
what you are going through re very good metrics to help you gain the most advantage you can.

A lot has changed in a year, if the plugin was updated a year ago, it would appear it is unsupported, proceed with caution.
Have you got a test site?
If not you can set one up using one of your site Rubix sites, an ideal way to test things out to see if they are compatible, before letting them loose on your primary sites.
Sometimes checking out the associated forum attached to the plugin can alert us to any issues.

Don't feel pressured, Debs raised a valid point, sometimes friends can make suggestions that are not based on any practical knowledge. Part of the WA process is that we have access to support and extensive knowledge base that would probably outstrip any potential gains from so titled SEO experts.

I have a test Siterubix site that I occasionally use. I hadn't thought about testing the plugin on that site, though. I've seen some plugins work well initially only to start causing problems down the road. So I thought I should find out whether other members had used this plugin.

As for SEO you can learn a lot more here rather than pay for someone even more so they are asking you to add a plugin as well.
I don't trust the person at all.
But that is your choice and if you do go ahead and add the plugin make sure you have done a backup first

I guess the learning curve is steep.:-) There is still so much that I haven't grasped, and I thought I should follow a friend's advice to get professional help. I'm still on the fence on this, but I'm not sure I want to add an outdated plugin to my site.
Let your friend pay for it and anything else if it goes wrong and I am sure they won't be so suggestive then.
Yes this can be a steep learning curve but when you are the one learning and apply all you have learned you will be the one to benefit from the experience.
We can all give you our thoughts to your question but you are the one that needs to make a choice.
As I said run it through with your friend to what I said also how much experience do they have with SEO, Websites, Marketing and all that goes with what you are doing
If they have SEO expertise themselves then let them help out a friend for Free

The SEO is a freelancer who has been ranking sites for the past 12 years. I was referred to them by a friend who thought I should get pro help to recover from the Google Medic update. The said something about the plugin being able to help my site on Google, but I have my doubts on this.
