Phew, I had NO Clue!

Boy oh boy, I had no idea what I was really getting myself into when I first joined WA a couple weeks ago, but as I'm going along, I have a much bigger and broadened view of it all.

I knew that I've always wanted to have my own business and that one of the best ways to get a good start is by creating a website. And not even just my own business, but I wanted something to call my own period.

I've struggled for so many years with chasing after numerous dreams and testing out many talents, but when I finally found out about this opportunity, I was motivated in ways I've never been before.

"Wow, I can have my very own platform that I could share with other people to help them, and one day, I'll even be able to start making a profit from my services!!"

Now I knew that it wasn't going to be easy work, but I had no idea how tasking it can really be when you're building from the ground up. I'd be insanely lost if it weren't for all the lessons here at WA with the included walk-thru videos. Not to mention, the other people here at WA are just simply amazing; it's definitely a great community.

Besides getting through the lessons though, you've really got to apply yourself and put into practice what you've learned as best as possible. Ask as many questions as you have to and most importantly, take as much time as you need. It's better to get things right at a good pace instead of doing all the wrong things too fast and then having to go back and correct all the mistakes.

And that's something I'm STILL struggling with as I write to you now. I want to know it all so bad because I'm excited about everything and just wish I could skip to all the fun parts. I have to keep reminding myself though that this is my own journey, and I have to allow myself to embrace it all and just work at a steady pace.

I've also gotta remember not to compare my status to the next person; especially if we might be working with the same niche. Yes, I want to be successful and I know that that can be achieved but I've gotta be okay with taking the necessary time that's needed to invest in my success.

There's going to many growing pains and mistakes made along the way, but I'm going to continue to work hard for what it is I want. "Nothing worth having is going to seamlessly come easy." (another daily reminder to myself)

As long as I stay focused, do the hard work, and continue to perfect my craft, not only will I reach my further accomplishments, but I'll be able to feel even more proud of the process that I took to get there and that I stayed true to myself.

At first I wasn't sure about writing this blog but I really like sharing my struggles; especially if it'll allow at least one person to gain something from it. ("Hey you, we've got a few things in common I see".)

I've also been learning that the more I talk or discuss the things that consume me, the less they overwhelm me and then I'm easily able to move on.

Thanks for taking a couple minutes out of your day to read on my thoughts, and as always, I wish you ALL the very best on reaching success...God Bless!

Ashlee,

I have to agree with the message to you from stevecox. You did blow this blog 'out of the water'.

You have a witness from me with your comment:

"It is better to get things done right at a good pace instead
of doing all the wrong things too fast and then having to
go back and correct all the mistakes".

You will advance to your success quickly with your positive attitude and diligent dedication to your vision.

You go girl!

Katherine
