2014 - The Year of the Horse? Oh Yeah....

I was just reading this article that says that 2014 is the year of the Wood Horse. I was clueless as to what that meant so thought I'd share what I read (emphasis mine):

"The Wood Horse year is a time of fast victories, unexpected adventure, and surprising romance. It is an excellent year for travel, and the more far away and off the beaten path the better. Energy is high and production is rewarded. Decisive action, not procrastination, brings victory. But you have to act fast in a Horse year. If you are not 100% secure about a decision, then don’t do it. Events move so quickly in a Horse year that you don’t want to gallop off in the wrong direction."

Wow - "Decisive Action, not Procrastination, Brings Victory" - how true is THAT for the business we are in??

The other part that got me what the part that said - "If you are not 100% secure about a decision, then don't do it".

I think that can be a tough thing to follow when you're new to all this make money online stuff - it's such a challenge that it's hard to be 100% secure, isn't it? I know it sure was for me when I first started.

But, now after a few years doing this, the concept of "be 100% secure or don't" figures prominently for me. Does it for you?

I can tell you one thing - if you are even considering working towards the goal of the WA Vegas trip (that Kyle talked about in his post here) - DO IT.

I have been to the WA Vegas Conference twice now.... and it's amazing.

One time, I was coming out of the super cool Sky Loft after my private one-on-one meeting with Kyle and Carson and I got in the elevator so lost in thought - my mind was just boggled at all the ideas we talked about to improve my business.

I was standing there alone in that elevator for a LONG time... and it didn't occur to me that the elevator wasn't moving.

Finally it hit me that I wasn't going anywhere and I realized - I never pushed a button!

I was so lost in thought and ideas that I never pushed a button to make the elevator move...lol!

I could only imagine the security people watching that elevator - and watching ME...hahaha!

Anyway- I just want to encourage anyone thinking about making their 300 sales to get to Vegas. Trust me, it will be SO worth the effort...and yes, you totally CAN do it.

Set your mind on that goal and be 100% secure in that decision - and then take decisive action and you'll find victory will happen.

You can do it - I have total faith in you. Besides, WA is so NOT a hard sale in any shape or form. It's a sale you can feel AWESOME about - and that says a lot in our business.

I'm going to be working towards my own goal of making it to Vegas and, like all of you, I have my own unique challenges to reach that goal...but by golly, my mind is set. I hope yours is as well so we can hang out in Vegas... it's such an AMAZING time.

Otherwise, I want to wish everyone a healthy and prosperous 2014 and hope that everyone is set in the right direction to make 2014 their best year ever.

On a personal note, the hubby and I just had (another) wedding anniversary on New Years Day (January 1st). He is my biggest supporter...and the President of my Fan Club (which includes the hubby and 2 cats...hahahaha!)
