The Problem - It's Obvious!
To achieve success, some days, you just have to look away. Writer's block comes to mind the most. Ok, so you are stuck! No big deal right? There is help available in many forms, including some you may not have thought of.
I write my blog about something that interests me. I use my passion as my get-away to clear my head and get creative. Let me explain.
While I was busy writing my next post for my interest, a blockage appeared. I couldn't get around it due to some skewed facts that were uncovered during my research. This has been going on for decades and my goal is to get past this.
The Solution - Right in front of you
Inspirations come in all sorts of various ways. On a whim, I decided to go to Youtube and try to find a solution. And there it was.
A quick search for "creative writing' with subliminals brought up several audio recordings that could be used to stimulate the mind. At about 30 minutes in length, this worked out just fine for the attention span.
Brought out the wireless headphones and started working on my passion while listening. Sure enough, after just a couple of minutes of listening while I was focused elsewhere, solutions to my writing problem came to life. I needed a bit more.
During a second session with a different recording, an entire new way of thinking about my current writing evolved and now, the ideas just flow and now have enough new material to solve the immediate problem as well as enough to fill several more posts in the near future.
Seek High - Look Low
Use what ever tools you can to solve those blockages and your writing skills will vastly improve. We are all different and to some, looking deeply into your soul's maybe where the answer lies. Or in a recording!
