Is there a course or lesson that walks me the process of adding products to my web page from Amazon?

Hi

You would have written 20 - 30 posts and have some traffic to be able apply for affiliate programs as typically they will check your site for relevance and traffic prior approval.

For Amazon it is 10 - 15 posts. And still have to achieve their sales quota.

Once accepted, they've give you material and special tracking code links you can share on your site.

Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

Once they do, and in accordance to your affiliation terms and conditions how commission payouts are tracked and paid.

I would always adhere to your affiliate program terms and conditions.

Meanwhile I'd ask as many questions as I want to get clarifications,

Welcome to WA and our community.

Hi - yes, this is covered in level 3 of training. Try not to get ahead of yourself, the training is set out in a specific order for the best chance of success.

Amazon has a sales target of 3 sales in the first 180 days. This is difficult to achieve until your website is at the stage of receiving daily traffic.

Many people apply to join Amazon too early and fail to meet the target and are removed from their program.

Thank you for the information, I was just curious as to when I will get into that part. Also thank you for the advice I will follow the advice and not get ahead of myself, I tend to do that sometimes because I want to make money NOW. I will be patient though!

You need many posts to get ranked in search engines and get traffic then apply for affiliate program.

If I am creating a DIY niche do I have to create my own videos to use on the page or could I use ones from YouTube or other sources?

Hi totally your choice.

You can share vids from YouTube if they have a share embed button, however you can edit them.

Or if yours you can upload to YouTube and embed share in blog vs upload to site as it can be a hindrance to site speed.

AbieAJ which one do you recommend I do?

Of course if own it is better, but YouTube first then share embed blog.

Check resources below discussion

AbieAJ thank you for your help, for right now I will use YouTube.

So very welcome.
