how can I come up with an excellent niche

It depends on you. Be aware that you will have to write about 80 articles plus on the topic to be successful. It doesn't have to be something that you know anything about you can write about your journey. So for instance if you want to promote wealthy affiliates then you can start about how you learn and what you learn and the pitfalls et cetera.
Some people will recommend you go for your passion personally I always recommend you go for the money. Once you have become profitable you can pay to maintain your site and then go for something you're passionate about which may not be as profitable.
Some people will tell you that you can make a profit out of any niche. Don't be lulled into that false sense of security some leashes pay pennies and it is a hobby not a business
