Fear Of Failure Is A Sign That You’re About To Grow
Fear shows up every time we step into something new. Maybe you’re writing your first blog post and wonder if anyone will read it. Maybe you’re adding your first affiliate link and think, “What if no one clicks?” Or maybe you’re nervous about launching your site at all.
Here’s the secret: that fear isn’t a sign you should stop. It’s proof you’re about to grow.
If you felt nothing, it would mean you’re staying in your comfort zone. But growth lives outside that zone. Every successful affiliate marketer has felt fear before hitting “publish” or before investing time into a new strategy. The difference is, they did it anyway.
Why fear of failure is a good sign
- It means you care. If you didn’t care about your work, you wouldn’t worry about failing.
- It signals growth. Fear appears when you’re stretching your skills and learning something new.
- It keeps you sharp. A little fear pushes you to prepare, research, and improve.
How to move through the fear
- Break it down. Instead of thinking “What if I fail?”, ask “What’s the very next step I can take?”
- Take small actions. Write one post. Publish one page. Fear shrinks as you take action.
- Reframe mistakes. Every failure is just feedback. Use it to improve your next step.
- Lean on the WA community. Share your fears. You’ll find countless people who’ve been there and pushed through.
The goal isn’t to eliminate fear. The goal is to act in spite of it. Each time you do, your comfort zone expands, and your business grows right along with it.
Thanks for sticking with me through this Persistence & Mindset series. Stay consistent, embrace the journey, and you’ll see your efforts pay off.
– Paul

I like this Paul, I face some type of fear every day, When set out to go to a job J.O.B. I'm worrying about making it to where ever I'm going, I do a lot of traveling, I'm looking forward to the day I would have too, thanks for showing what the mind can do to everyone, For business it acts the same way
The goal is to act in spite of it, Just keep the right mind set, The goal isn’t to eliminate fear. act in spite of it, That's
what your mind should do
Thanks again for this lessen
MrWillan😁👌
MrWillan, you said it perfectly! Fear shows up for all of us, but like you said, the key is to act in spite of it. It’s not about removing fear, but learning to move forward with the right mindset. That’s exactly how growth happens. One brave step at a time!
Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s inspiring!
Keep going strong, my friend.
Paul.
Paul,
I look at things this way. If I am trying something new (like starting a website). That was outside of my comfort zone and because I know this I want to succeed and tell myself I am going to succeed, but in the back of my mind I have accepted the philosophy that you NEVER FAIL, you have just learned one way that it can not be done. So we back up and start again or try a different route. If you never try is when you fail. So I agree with you Fear of failure is a sign youre going to grow if you go through with it. Great Post!
Hey Neal, that’s such a powerful mindset! You’re absolutely right.
Trying something new like building a website can feel uncomfortable at first, but that’s exactly where growth happens. We never fail, we just learn one way it can’t be done. That’s such a motivating reminder to keep moving forward no matter what.
Thanks for sharing that insight. It really adds so much value to the discussion!
Paul.
My Grandpaw is the one that preached that to me. Always told me that when I did not succeed. (which was a good bit when I was young). He was always in my corner, so to speak.

Powerful Enlightenment Paul, I'm always anxious when I try post my vlog post because I'm worried if I'm doing right with all the grammars and proper usage of words. Fortunately, we have chat GPT to ask hehe. By the way, English is not my first Launguage that's why its a bit hard for me to construct my own vlog post. For now, I try to take time to learn and study the Launguage. Anyway, thanks for sharing Paul!

Appreciate it, Wen.
Yeah, English is neither my first or second language. Thanks to tools like ChatGPT and grammarly. They greatly help enhance grammar and writing styles etc... to suit the audiences.
Keep it up and keep doing it better. You are doing great!
Paul.
Thanks Paul!
You are welcome, Wen.
