The Importance of Google Trends
According to Wikipedia, Google Trends is an important tool used to identify search terms in relation to the volume of how many times they have been searched. This tool as owned by Google, also identifies the locations of the search items and when they have been searched over a period of time.
In my research today, I got excited to read about such an excellent tool we have. Google Trend with the assistance of the others provides many advantages in the process of getting ideas to write on.
Importance of Google Trends
1. It shows you what's trending most at the moment
2. It shows what's been trending over time. This is important to identify the niches that are dying over time and the ones that are developing .
EXAMPLE: In the search space, I typed "Acoustic guitar." This is what I got.
3. It shows the interest by regions of what is trending
4. It shows related topics of what is trending.
5. It shows related queries of the trending stories
Together with the keyword tool, Answer.com and Amazon, Google Trend is an important tool to assist every entrepreneur in identifying a viable niche.
