I Lack Motivation
I am approaching the second year's annual subscription and I have no motivation to move forward. I know it's because I've had a whole year's dedication with no much success in terms of sales. At the same time I know success doesn't mean sales alone but it's a package of several things including the training and help that I've already got here.
I can't regret being a member of WA but currently I'm not having the interest I had before. I'm one of the people who don't give up easily but this time round my motivation to move forward is diminishing day by day.
Has anyone of you experienced this and how did you solve it?
I'm glad to hear your thoughts.
Wonderful friday
Paul.

Hi Paul, I find that this happens to me on a minor level as well. I mean, if I am working on a smaller project such as learning how to implement something,
I get really pro-active and excited when I accomplish it. Then the 'novelty wears off' and I have to drag myself up and re-focus on the bigger plan which may not be doing so well, as I took my eye off the ball for a bit!
Also, I know I have a bit of a mental block about traffic and selling, so I have to really push myself to focus enough on that area. I'm more comfortable behind the scenes! So, even more focussing in that area... with no excuses, for me! Keep going and best of luck, Sue :)
Hi Paul,
I'm in a similar situation as you are, but not willing to give up. I know for sure that this works, in my case I'm just not giving it enough time...that's an area I should work on.
Your posts are one of my favorites, I remember being inspired by reading them,...I can sense that you have acquired a lot so it could just be a matter of time, maybe just give a hand for those who need it for a while and on the process you may find yourself where you expect to be or beyond :)
So please give up on giving up and move on :)
Best regards, Sara
Hello my friend - the second year is always better in every way believe me so just go for it and you will, not be sorry
Paul
Yes but not giving up and finally breaking that mould as I've told myself I'm in for a long haul. This might help: https://medium.com/the-mission/the-secret-to-your-self-motivation-lies-in-this-surprising-science-backed-habit-608fbedfbbd7
I've read that article you've just shared and u think the problem with me is lack of enough time to work on my business. My job has become too demanding.
Most of us here are in the same situation, juggling many balls. One thing I know is that there's money to be made online to replace what I'm doing now.
I have proof from a member of my family though their online business is mainly through Shopify/facebook.
I intend to keep learning and practise till I get where I want and I hope you can do the same.I have had to say no to some job offers because I know I will get distracted chasing big salaries in the short term and forgetting long-term goals.
Stick with it.
Monetizing your website isn,'t the only way to earm Paul, have you considered taking action to monetize your knowledge online or locally, by setting up websites for others or even write training for WA?
That sounds nice Loes. I only created one training then ran out of time and I know if I put more effort in this I can get more success.
I am struggling myself with no responses or success and hearing of your not much success for the length of time you have been dedicated is a worry. I hope you keep going, Paul, we need encouragement also. Best wishes :)
You have to have a positive mindset and believe in yourself. It's hard to do when you don't see results, believe me, I've been there too. I've also searched for shiny objects while feeling down about not seeing any improvements but guess what? I push forward because I've seen it work for SO MANY PEOPLE, so why can't it happen to me? So I decided it's going to happen, and found out what I needed to do. I worked hard to make changes in Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov.. and every month has been a record month. Even only 9 days in, I have several records broken in my little online business.
You must keep the faith and reach out to people in your niche and find out how to get this DONE. :)
I hope you will stick around and find out what you need to do to make yourself a success story because it's really up to you.
I know you can do it Paul, hang in there!
Grace
Thanks Grace and as you say it's all upto me to make it happen. I don't want to give up because I am pretty sure that this is my passion. Even if I don't earn a living out of it right now I can hang around just to make my dreams cone true.
It's great to hear that you are doing well.
Blessings,
Paul

I hope you don't give up look at it like a learning experience. Just keep learning by doing.
Much success to you.
One thing I can't forget is the lessons i've read here. If there's is something that can keep me here is the value of education found in WA. Thanks for that motivation.
