Sounds like they had trouble crawling your site for some reason. If you have Google webmaster tools setup, you can ask Google to re-crawl your site and that should help it go away.
From within webmaster tools you can request this by going to Crawl --> Fetch as Google. Then click on fetch and render. Once it has fetched the page, click on request indexing and then choose how you want it crawled. They are pretty quick with these requests.
Thanks,
Tom

Your website is showing "not found" on the homepage simply because you haven't created any "posts" yet.
By default, most websites created on Wordpress have a blog roll as their homepage. This is a collection of your posts that are listed in chronological order. It will show either a 404 message or a not found message until you add your first message.
This is not an issue, but moving forward you should consider creating a post in the near future as this will then be added to your homepage. Hope this helps you out.
Hi Kyle. That was the thing as I created my first post yesterday and posted it to my site. I hit publish and everything looked good but when I tried to access the site through Google that is when I got the 404 not found message. I will check again today.

Okay, this may sound like a silly question. I have some content written which I would like to publish on my site. It is more blog though. During one of the training's it was st
You can have comments on pages. I have 70 pages, all with comments. If you do not have this option, you can add it, there are 4 ways to do this, so try them, here is my training. How to enable comments in WordPress pages On the other hand, every post can be added to the main menu (I assume this is what you ask). Appearance, Menus, Posts, Add to menu.
If you go into your Wordpress Manager... Click on Posts...
When you do this all the posts you have written will be listed...
Under each post you will see a small button which says (Quick Edit)
Click this.. and you will see there a small box to 'enable comments' ... make sure it is checked...
Do this and click update on each one.. and you will able to receive and answer comments from there!
Does this help ?
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris, I did what you said. Quick edit and the box is checked for adding comments. also to "add pings" (not sure what that is yet) but when I hit update it takes me back to my blog page and there is still a line where the comment icon should be.
side bar is back but I scroll to the end of my blog and I don't see anywhere to insert comments. There is a "Recent Comment" on my side bar

Can I insert posts into my pages?

Hello, I am looking for a clean no fluff theme for my site. With so many to choose from it is a bit boggling. it will be an affiliate site with self help content and product re
I love the themes by ThemeZee.com. Programmed very well, fast and pretty. Also the free versions are really worth a shot.
Cheers,
Kay
PS: I am certainly NOT affiliated with ThemeZee, it's really only a recommendation about what I like.

I was just playing around with the keyword planner in Google. Does any WA member know what the suggested bid means? There is a price below each suggested bid. I read Google's
I agree, the one here at WA is excellent or you can try Jaaxy though it only offers a limited amount before you have to pay.
you are probably better of using the Keyword Tool in the tools menu on the left:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kw_research
or even better, Jaaxy (but that costs a bit of money after your 30 free searches).
Suggested bids are if you want to buy adverts. The google keyword planner is for paid advertising rather than ranking in Google.
Cheers for that Dom. That clears it up. Thought i read somewhere that Google no longer offers a free keyword planner.

Hello, I would like to change my theme but already have 5 pages on my current theme. How can I go about importing those pages to a new theme. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Many things can go wrong. Make sure you know which is your active menu so to restore it as most likely it will not be there.
Save your sidebar banners codes, and any other code in the sidebar. They might disappear, but this usually means that the corresponding widgets are moved to 'unused', it happened to me.
Save your sidebar image code if you have the image there.
Changing theme doesn't require you to move pages, they'll all still be there when you switch.
