Core “Business Start Up” Training

Before I found WA I tried building a site myself, but it didn't work. I let the site name lapse. Now that site name is a premium name and priced at >$8,000 whereas the same

You aim to check if the dot com domain is copyrighted, trademarked and ' or registered to an established business, before you go ahead with a dot net or dot org. Reason being, you do not want to build a business and years down the line, the dot com make a claim. I am not saying this will happen but it might.

Also people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com - I personally have preference for short two words dot coms.

Hi, Paul

.net is fine but I always prefer .com if it is available

.net shouldn't really affect your post rankings

Frank

I was thinking that after I posted the question & it's a lot cheaper.

I published my privacy policy and it has gone straight onto my site as a post. How do I change it to a page?

Thank-you everyone for your help (blown away). The copy and paste option had occurred to me, however, I was looking at something that could circumnavigate that, PoppaJoe you the man!

You got a lot of resources here, hopefully you were able to fix the issue

The is a plugin in word press that you can use that will change it over for you. Just search for "post type switcher". Very easy and quick.

A simple cut and paste and delete what is job!

Looks like you have some help already. Follow those steps and your site should be fine.

you can copy & paste it into a new page page and then delete it from your post page.

select all copy, cut your content from your post and paste it into your new page-publish the page and delete your old post.

How do I find the worksheet from this webinar?

If you type Understanding Your Audience in the search bar above, it will immediately display a listing of about 17 training tutorials and 2 blogs.

Nothing happening at all, whether I hit enter or the search icon.

I've been using copy & paste & it doesn't work with this search bar, however, I still can't find the worksheet within those options that come up!

Copy and paste will not work. You have to type it into the search bar because just like with Google, as you type it will show you the many options.

As for the worksheet, I would assume it resides in one of the Bootcamp training tutorials.

Have you tried typing it into the search bar at the top of the
page ?

Yep, the first thing I tried.

When I type in the search bar I get no response at all, whether I click on the search icon or press enter.
