I'm Back Baby!
Where did I go?
Last July, my WA premium membership expired... I chose not to renew it. Why? Because I didn't need it... at least, I thought I didn't need it at the time. I had some websites hosted over at Siteground for some oter projects I am working on. So I decided to take my site to siteground and continue writing posts to build my site.
The first month was great, I had posted some new articles and was seeing consistant traffic coming through the site.
Around September, I really slowed down on my posting consistency, at the time I thought it was just because I was busy and had ran out of time. But October, November and December were the same. In fact I hardly posted any content in the last 3 months of 2019.
I was reflecting earlier this week and realised that it wasn't a lack of time that caused me to post less, but in fact a lack of motivation...
I took my site over to siteground thinking I could keep posting consistently, I couldnt. I just didnt have the support and motivation I was getting from WA. Not to mention the comments etc that I had missed out on by taking my site over to another host.
Anyway, enough with the sob story... NOW IM BACK!
I renewed my premium membership at WA just this morning. I'm so glad I did, I am already back using Jaaxy, the comments and feedback sections and I'm trying to catch up on some training I missed while I was gone. Why did I go?
I honestly thought I could continue to build my online business without the WA platform.
I was able to host my site elsewhere, no problems. I was even posting some articles when I first moved my site.
But after a few months I realised how important the tools and features of the WA platform were.
- JAAXY - Hands down my favourite feature of WA. While I was away I tested about 10 different keyword tools, most of them were free trials of products. I can honestly say that Jaaxy is one of the absolute best out there. And the fact it is included with the WA premium membership is just crazy!
- Site comments - Without the WA site comments, I received 0 comments when my site was hosted over at siteground.
- The support from other WA members - The lack of support i got when I went out on my own was one of the hardest things to deal with. I was regularly thinking of new ideas too implement on my site, but I had no one to run them by or ask if they thought it was a good or bad idea.
- The training at WA - Like the support from other WA members, the training was something I really missed. Without the consistent training 'top up' I was stagnant in my learning and skill development.
If you do need some help with your website, feel free to reach out. I am always willing to help anyone out to get their site up and running. How can you help me?
I love putting ideas into posts/ or questions here at WA - and I love sharing them with everyone. If you do or don't like an idea I share, I would love to hear from you.
If you have any questions or need anything from me please ask.
Thanks for reading and I really look forward to settling back in here at Wealthy Affiliate!
