On my Facebook profile I list Wealthy Affiliate University as one of my employers. If you click on the words Wealthy Affiliate University, it will take you to the WA sign up pa

Thank you! I just checked up my FB and saw, to my dismay, the links were going to places where they do not convert!
I have deleted them and added my websites to Contact and general information. In the section Websites and Social links

I remembered in one of Kyle's videos in setting up facebook, he said that we can add Wealthy Affiliate for employment, but that it will go directly to Wealthy Affiliate Website (not using our affiliate link). So I assumed it meant no, we would not get credit, but would make your facebook authentic and hopefully the user will see some other post of yours and click on that instead.

I think you are correct Darlene. I hope that Kyle and WA can do something about it soon.

Thanks

I agree - I added it to my site too, but was a little skeptical in doing so. Would like to get credit if someone visits my FaceBook and then gets to Wealthy Affiliate from it.

if its your affiliate link then yes it will count

No, it is not my affiliate link. When I typed in Wealthy Affiliate the whole name Wealthy Affiliate University automatically showed up and I used it as my employer in my profile.

I have just completed my review of WA and I post it in a page of it's own. Is this okay or should I post it as one of my posts in my post page? I need some advise please.

No difference. You can add a post in the main menu just like a page. Posts are more flexible as they appear also in the blog roll. But posts have date.

Personally, I like to do product reviews as posts. A review of WA would make a good page because as new features are added you can add pages under the first page. I use posts because, once a review is read, the reader will go on to the next review. They will not need to read the review over and over. In the blog roll, a post can be accessed but it won;t stay in the top position unless set up that way. Hopefully, you will have return traffic so posts will likely work better for reviews. But, as with some much on a website, its a personal choice.

Thank you for your advice drjec. The reason why I decided to give my review it's own page is so I can add it to my top menu, plus I am going to do more work on it in the future. As a newbie, I thought that would would be more accessible for me as I continue to edit and add contents to it. As I continue to grow my experience and write more reviews, I will add them as posts instead of pages. That makes a lot of sense.

Thank you sir for your help. That is very kind of you.

Pelesio.

It sounds like you have made a good decision on your own. I did basically the same thing with my website. A few things that could easily have been posts I decided to make the first page of menu headings.

What is a realistic figure as to how many websites can a person who is still in training, work a full time job, a family to raise and still able to maintain them the way they s

That is a very good question and one that likely many folks new to online marketing wonder about. If you look around at what has been added here on the membership site by many, you will see that most recommend sticking with one...

I have to say that is some good advice based on my own experience. When I first started I had aspirations of maintaining and building many websites simultaneously.

It did not take long for me to realize that this was not going to work, there is just too much to do for each. you fall behind, things don;t get done, and overall you have a lot of sites that are not their best...

Especially in the situation that you describe, it would be better to focus on one and do it well. The other things in your life that are also important limit the time you have for online marketing, so you have to make the most of the time you do have by focusing on that one site...

Have a look at what others here will advise, but that is what I think...Later as you get more experience and things become clearer as to how it all works, things will speed up for you...

I mean that you will be able to get more done in the same time, because you have the skills and the knowledge, you have learned about tools that help leverage your time, and you are extremely focused...

Then you can add that second or third site and income stream and have a much higher chance at success with all of them@

Best of luck!
Dave : )

That is very good advise Dave. It is why I asked the question. I was starting to have a hard time trying to maintain the two websites I have now. Now that I have all the feedback from people that are more experienced than myself, I have decided that I will not built anymore until I have enough experience to be able to manage more than one site,

Thank you very much for your advise Dave. It is very much appreciated.

Pelesio.

I would stick to one, make it successful, and only then branch out :-)

Thank you for your advice johnnewman. I appreciate it very much.

I have two sites but I started my first month and a half just doing one. Since I am so perfect for my niches the two sites are doable for me. Coming up with content is not hard. It is time consuming but I am surviving. If I took on anymore I would burn out.

Thank you for your input. Having two websites while I am still in training is starting to be a little bit of a challenge.

I settle for one and a test page that is a subdomain

Thank you very much stn67 for your feedback. Advise taken!
There will be no more new sites till training is done with.

I know the feeling. The itch to get started with new projects

It's best to focus on just one website.

Hi Marion. I know that now but my first website was built it as a favor for my sister for her new care-giving business. I can't back out of that now. I guess I will not start another one until I am done with the training.

Thank you for your advise Marion. I appreciate it very much.

Good morning,

I am retired, have 2 websites and with the socializing on WA I can tell you it is hands full, I even have help from my better half so there you see.

Regards, Taetske

Good morning Taetske. Thank you very much for your reply. I have two websites too. They are still in the construction phase and it is a lot of work but I enjoy every minute of it. I just want to be realistic about how many sites I can maintain properly while I am still in training.

My regards to you too,
Pelesio.

Good morning Pelesio,

I am still bettering my websites every day, little details here and there. Then I have to write at least a new post for each of them every week. I have enough material to do that but am lacking time.
In my next life, I am going to live in a place where they have a 48 hours day.

I am off to work in the garden which I enjoy, Happy Easter.

Taetske

The only place that can come close to a 48 hour day might be in Alaska...hahaha. And a happy Easter to you too Taetske.

Hello, my name is Pelesio Kama. I was a premium member until November, 2016. I abruptly closed my account due to an illness and financial difficulty. Now that I have taken care

You'll need to contact Site Support for that Pelesio.

As a returning member can you re-instate my websites and domains?

Is it a good idea to have more than one website to promote Wealthy Affiliate?

Thank you very much everyone for clearing that up for me.

Good that you asked the question, and so I learned something new, by reading the answers below. Thanks guys for your answers, very helpful

Yes, you can.

You can do so long as it is not exactly like the one you have perhaps feature on different aspects, different approach or highlight jaxxy

Thank you very much Katie. You guys have given me the answers I needed plus more.

Hi there!

Some affiliates I know use this strategy for "world domination"! ;P

Because their SEO strategy is robust, and they have somehow managed to rank ALL their multiple websites on Page 1. When you search the keywords, most, if not all of the Page 1 sites are theirs, making the likelihood of a sale very very high.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul. You are right. Domination is exactly why I wanted to ask the question.

sure, why not. Just do it in a different way and maybe add jaaxy in the mix

Thank you Jaker. It's a very good idea to throw jaaxy in there too.

yes.

If you can create multiple niches.

To add to my first post... On my first WA site, I promote WA as a place to learn, like an Online University, with the appropriate links to get people to sign up, and a few more details... It's a soft sell about blogging and learning about blogging...

The one I recently started is more of a hard sell about building an online business, and this site looks more like the one-page, multi-page site that is common today...

I think it's more about how you want to spend your time, and how you want to promote WA...

I would think most would say no, but, somehow, I've started a second one... There are a few ways to promote WA, and if you try too many ways on one site, you might confuse people... So, I guess it depends on if the approaches are different enough to allow for people you might have missed with the other one...

Hi Gary, I too am thinking of having a second website after I complete my first one.
