i just read this by Kyle today and felt so much better.. I have been beating myself up, depressed and unhappy with some remarks I had read a while back.. I love the people here, love helping, love Wealthy Affiliate. It fits me to a t and I am not going to try to stifle myself just because people do not understand the program here... Please read Kyle's remarks and treat this place like family.. Remember we don't have to be an expert to be an ambassador..We just need to work as a team..
Ambassadorship Program (for the social folks)
This is a program designed to reward those that take an active, Ambassadorship role here at Wealthy Affiliate. You don't have to be an expert at Internet Marketing to be an ambassador. You simply have to be a social presence here within the community, take part in active discussions, create discussions, create training, and help others out. The true definition of an ambassador within the community. :)-Kyle
Whether or not you are one, is not an issue.. DO WHAT YOU LOVE! If it isn't social, do not beat yourself up! If it is technical? Yay! You are needed! Love what you do and do what you love.. Ambassador or not! We are all vitally important. Be yourself. Find yourself. Be comfortable with yourself and who you are here. That is number#1!!
Do not compare yourself to others or make up rules here what you think an ambassador should be. We do not have to be experts or successful to be one. We do not have to be Kyle or Carson or UPSGirl or Nathaniel or Leoemery to be one...(although, I wish and it is my aim.)Thank you Kyle.. We all have a chance to be an Ambassador.. Yes, Paula, we all have our place in the world and things work best when each of us seeks that spot where they feel they belong. WA allows us to be free to do just that and I love it too! You are a great ambassador and have been even before you were acknowledged as one because of your sweet and caring nature. I'm glad to have gotten to know you.

We ARE all winners. WHY - because we're here every day doing what we can to learn and move in a forward direction in our lives and inspiring others to do the same. The losers are the ones who don't even try - I'm kinda stealing a little from dickw's most recent blog but it's so true!

Well, it's fair enough if that's what Kyle says he wants Ambassadors to be. If that's the official word from the main guy, who am I to say it's wrong :-)
But for me personally, I still think Kyle's too vague about what the "rewards" are of being an Ambassador actually are. Personally, I would rather have a new referral than a higher WA rank any day, and I'll take money over the title of Ambassador.
Maybe we need another label for the top referrers? For me, I would look up more to someone who's actually making sales than someone who's been the most social on here. Not that there's anything wrong with being social at all. It's great to be part of the community here. I just don't think it should take up an excessive amount of time.
Take Nathanniel, for example. He's been here 5 years, and makes a full time living from internet marketing. He doesn't post loads here, but when he does you know it's going to be something really good. You know he's worth listening to because he's actually living the dream. He's exactly where I want to be.
But I genuinely wish you the best and hope you get your success soon. I know you had your first referral recently. Maybe you can find out whatever it was that gave you that referral and then do more of that.

Marcus, For your information I have actually been limiting myself. No more. Are you purposefully limiting yourself because you have more to offer than I do most certainly!? You are incredibly smart and have so much knowledge . Don't limit yourself just because you feel it is safer. I get the feeling you are unhappy and you have mentioned it. I understand as I have them too and have been crying for about an hour now from unrelated things but personal issues too hard to bare.
Nonetheless .. If you don't understand something please talk to Kyle because I cAnnot help much. This should not be an issue for either of us . Ambassadors are set up regardless so that Anyone can be one.
We are a team. You are one of the first people that I found help from. You should be up here too.. A lot of people should..
Thanks to Kyle you don't have to be a Nathaneil or Carson to be one, simply you! Stop trying to make the system here work according to your way of thinking and enjoy it.

very well explained and it is true I am no technical guru for sure just help where I can after all we are a movement of people with a common purpose and that is to learn and grow our businesses
I just feel so much better! I was trying to get it off like a piece of dirt or a spider, ya know? I fetlt guilty until I realized how Kyle and Carson set it up, so, that WE could ALL be WINNERS! I think that is so kind and thoughtful.. and not greedy.. This is the most unselfish place I have ever had the privilege to belong to..
I know him personally and he is a sweetheart. He is distracting, but, he is funny and silly and real! so it helps when overlooking his faults.. He cant help he is gorgeous! LOl!
