Catchfire is having issues on her new website with this problem, she has changed themes twice and it is no different; she can't get her post to publish to the public view. This
Hi there, pisces
first let me thank you for the follow ,the only thing I can think of, pisces is to make sure that your post are not private, and also refresh your webpage, and make sure that it's not open in another browser, and also check any conflict in plug-in,
because WordPress costly updates itself and it never shuts down it has no downtime some plug-ins that a little older makes WordPress sluggish and skirmish and in the process of access it blocks publishing especially if that plug-in's automated one with a Cron job.
Which means automation.
Thanks Rocwell, the issue is not mine, but I will pass this along to Catchfire. We did check the "prive" post thingy and that box was NOT checked. So she is still in trouble trying to get her posts to show up
The main reason may be she has messed up with the settings and made the post private.
Solution,
1.Log into wordpress dashboad.
2. Click on all post.
3. Click the edit button.
$. UNTICK the place that says "keep this post private"(She is the only person who ca see the post.
Hope this will be the solution Pisces.
The Sky is the Limit,
Anthony
Thank you Anthony, that sounds like a good tip... and it just may be her solution, I'll let you know and here's a hug for your effort :-)
We just tried that Anthony, and her "edit button" was not on private. I am beginning to think she has something wrong with her PC.

In your dashboard, go to settings---reading and see what is front page. May be the landing page has become the front page. You can change it to your original home page.
Thanks for the idea, but we solved it -- I had to erase all cookies; that was the issue. Everything works fine now. I am soooo techie-challenged :-(
I believe there is an incorrect link somewhere that should lead to the landing page but has been changed to the affiliate link instead.
Hi Pisces, I'm really new in here..... and have almost no experience, but isn't this problem related to any changes in the admin password related to your original account at WA?
Like, have you changed any password recently?
Kyle, tells about that in the beginning of the training. I believe it's Course 1, lesson 5 - Setting Up your Website, when he explains about the login and password for Wordpress, I don't remember exactly how to correct it, but you can review the training.
I hope it helps
Thanks so much, we did manage to solve this problem, and just in case anyone else ever has it -- erase your cookies!!! That's all it took.

Kyle's lessons are usually so easy and clear, and if I'm following his instructions right:
I chose the "lesson" video I wanted to put on my blog -- so I assumed I copy&paste
Thank you Janice, yes -- this seemed fairly simple and I will try it right now. I do hope there is no difference between a UTube video vs one of Kyle's classroom video. I would assume they both work the same way, thanks so much.
Hi Rich, Janice used a "share" button in UTube to turn the video she was moving to a "code" which she c&p -- I get all that. But Kyle's classroom videos do not have a "share" button, so how do I get the code?
Thanks to Janice however, I am getting closer to understanding :)
