Is it bad to trash a whole post even in a menu?
Im concerned on some of my content. I went to heavy on affiliate links. In posts as well inmenu choices. Is it bad to trash the whole post and redo it and slim it up and cut way back on linking? Also what is back linking? Is that like a link in your post that leads to one of your other posts or pages? Wow 3rd month in ,And never building a site this a little hard LOL.
I'm not a quitter! I am getting traffic but its low. Im messed up a little on Google analytic s and Im not sure my gravitar is right. I need to slow up and correct things just not sure how. can anyone look at my site www.healthylifeforpets.com and be honest with me I already know about paragraphing My wife is starting to clean that up for me. Hi, you should delete only the affiliate links, not the whole post. Select the link and just click on the cross to delete.
Backlinks - when other websites place a link pointing to your website. You shouldn't worry about it, because as kyle said, it has little, if zero influence on your rankings.
The link that leads to another page of your website is called internal link. that's the one you want to delete, right?
About your website, I think you should change the theme. Also, I realise you promote WA in your posts. As your website is about pets, the people reading your content may not be interested in building an online business, so you are not targeting the right product to the right audience. You should promote related products... have you joined Amazon?
You are on the right track, it takes time... we need to keep improving things, that's normal.

Thanks First answer I want to create link from inside my post like leading to a category or another page in my site. I will delete stuff like WA. I am an affiliate for Amazon,petsmart,petco,onlynatural pet and couple others. I have amazon links in my site on some pet foods as well as pets smart thats all Ive used so far.
