did you just change the url, or did you export everything from the old url and import it to the new one?
If I am not mistaken you have a different login for www.mysitename.com ?
If so, you need to login to the admin area of www.mysitename.wordpress.com first. Go to export and export everything.
Then login to www.mysitename.com and import the data.
