The Most Informative Article: Google Page 1
The Most Informative Article: Google Page 1
In my post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/phil1944/blog/the-most-infor..., I reported that my 10,000 word article "the most informative article in my niche", created in accordance with Partha's guidelines, was indexed in less than half a day and and after 2 weeks was on Google page 4, in a very competitive niche of around 497,000,000 results.
Since then, I've added some more paragraphs and images based on People Also Ask and have had comments added by other WA members.
Today the article is on Google page 1, position 3 immediately after an article from awin.com (with a domain authority of 88).
Now to be perfectly clear, this is for a long tail keyword based on the affiliating marketing niche, so is unlikely to get a lot of searches.
But it's the one I'm using to measure progress and so far I'm very happy that it's heading in the right direction and that I'll be seeing future high rankings for the various People Also Ask paragraph headings.
My next step will be to seek out quality backlinks to the site and increase itsdomain authority.

Superb Phil.
For me, your penultimate paragraph NAILED IT.
I feel this is what a lot of people don't understand about traffic progression to ONE article.
Here's an example, based on made up figures.
Let's say one of your subheadings ranks IN ITS OWN RIGHT for 10 different, but related keywords.
So, those TEN keywords for that ONE SUBSECTION of your article provides (just ONE of the People Also Ask queries)
10 visitors per month
9 visitors per month
8 visitors per month
7 visitors per month
6 visitors per month
5visitors per month
4 visitors per month
3 visitors per month
2 visitors per month
1 visitors per month
So, none of those figures alone (or even together) seem particularly impressive, do they?
But, that is still 55 visitors per month to just ONE SUBSECTION of your article.
Therefore, if your article has 40 different People Also Ask SUBSECTIONS which produce exactly the same "unimpressive traffic" that ONE article is then receiving
40 x 55 = 2,200 visitors per month.
Now we're talking.
And obviously the older the article gets, the more potential it has to rank for MORE keywords for EACH INDIVIDUAL SUBSECTION of the article
The result - maybe a year or two down the line your ONE article is ranking for 1,000 keywords. Even if those keywords are only providing an average of 10 visitors PER KEYWORD, this is still 10,000 visitors PER MONTH to the ONE article as a whole!!
Can't wait to see how your article's doing in 6,9,12,18, and 24 months time.

Me too, Partha. Thanks for your inspiration.
