I find google webmasters and google analytics a bit complicated and sometimes inaccurate when it comes to providing information on page visits/clicks and KW ranking. I use http

I don't know of a site for that function Peter. I do know there are a few plugins that do this but I don't know how heavy they are.
Tim

Thanks Tim

I agree with you that google analytics could be complex sometimes, but it offers a wide range of options. However for tracking KW ranking, ProRankTracker is a very good option, although I believe that hardly any tool out there would be extremely precise, lets say in real time. All of them will have some delay and/or error between the numbers they display and the real ones.

Thanks Tommy

Is it still recommended to submit posts and articles to Streetarticles.com and ezinearticles.com or does the resultant back linking work against google's present algorithms.

I would submit all of the content you create directly on your website. There is little value to posting content on article directories now and you attain full value for any content you create by putting it directly on your website.

That is my recommendation.

thanks Kyle

it used to be that submitting to these resources was considered an advantage however it is not that way now, there are some members who have used streetarticles however it does not help much

On my Google Webmasters console in the > search traffic > search analytics report, it lists all the KW, but the position it shows is not accurate. For example it shows I

I think the problem is that the results are snapshots of previous searches, where Google actually places you will vary depending on previous search requests and results.

I know what you mean I have experienced the same problem no two search results appear to be the same, but oftentimes search queries are more fluid are not the same as SERP results which just look at your post title.

OK, thanks for that, Marie.

Does anyone where it shows the link source on amazon affliates. I am getting traffic and sales on amazon, but I need to know from which of my posts the link was clicked from. t

This is one advantage of using link tracking through Pretty Link or a similar service. Then you can see which links are getting the most clicks.

As for knowing which link produced which sale (if you have multiple links per page), Amazon doesn't give us that data as far as I know. You should be able to tell which products are selling though, since you can see what you've reviewed and promoted, plus what products you actually sold in your account.

Amazon will tell you total clicks, plus clicks to specific product links in the Reports section

If you are promoting the same product on different pages, you'll have to do some guesswork to find out which links are getting the most clicks vs when sales go up or down.

Did you sign up as an affiliate or are you just trying to add a link as if from your regular customer account? You have to create an affiliate link. From affiliate account. Search for products you want to add, click on add that product. It takes you to a page, with a picture of what will be on your site and code you select. Click select, right click and copy. Go to your page, paste the code where you want the image to appear, click save.

Thank you MKearns, but I don't think you understand my question. Sorry if it was not clear.I am already an Amazon affiliate and already have the Amazon product code in several of my websites and posts and are already getting click throughs and Amazon sales. My question is when I get an amazoon sale, how can I know from which of my posts the link was clicked from. I have tried to find this information in my reports section on my Amazon Affiliates account, but can/t seem to find it. thank you

Go to reports in your amazon affiliate page.

Yes, I am there, but where do I find this particular information? Thanks Tommy

Look somewhat similar to amazon, but on a smaller scale? https://darwin.affiliatewindow.com/m

Tis is a m ore recent startup Seattle based. It is not fully vetted but doesn't seem to be scam infested. Here is a reasonable review: http://www.bestlegitreviews.com/bonanza-review/

Never heard of it. Had a quick look. It could be an advantage to go with a smaller scale network. Appears to be based in Seattle.
