Change the size of your images outside of Wordpress, using Photoshop or Paint, try to use images of the measure that you want to appear on your website.

Hi Peter. I just went to your site and I think it is great. I left a comment on your home page. BUT I see what you mean about the page moving up and down. It makes it very hard to engage with it. I hope you can fix it soon. Sorry it's a bit over my head at the moment so I can't help there. Cheers.

Thank you. I appreciate your interest.

You need to change the size of the images before you upload them to your website. There are lots of free online tools available to do this. Ask Loes for the link to her website which has over 150 free things. ~Marion

Thank yoiu

Do you mean the pics in your slider? If so, it will probably require code changes to your theme. This will not likely affect conversions or traffic, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You could hire a coder for 5 or 10 dollars from fiver, but make sure they create a child theme for you so any theme updates don't erase the changes.

Thanks mate. I'll check it out

Nice site! I'm not familiar with the Sixteen theme but the specs say it uses the Nivo Slider. If you can find settings within the Theme Options for the slider settings, you might be able to control it there.

Have you checked the theme support forum?

Thanks Jude. I'll check it out

Thank you Jude. I kept a link to this for future reference. Very Helpful. I also checked t.he FAQ's but all questions relating to this remain unanswered. Thanks for trying

Find the size of your header in your settings or on your dasboard customize site

Thank you Loes. I'll check it out

Thanks Loes. That didn't work. Unfortunately I can't see how it applied to 1 picture and I couldn't resize the picture and putting all 4 pictures in at once just made a collage. I'll keep searching

Have you perhaps tried the most simple methode? Paint?
Make it one picture in pixlr, then open in paint and resize

See this, may help:

Thank you. i'll have a look.

Are you talking about the pictures in your slider? If so, there should be settings to limit the size of the images within the slider controls.

Thank you. i'll have a look

Unfortunately doesn't apply in this case because I can't set the image parameters but thank you. I am looking at other options as a result.

Peter, you need to check your Theme Options on how to change the size (and behavior) of your Slider.

Theme Options should be either

a menu item in WP dash board
under Appearance>
under Setting>

I am not familiar with your theme Sixteen.

John

Thank you

Unfortunately doesn't apply in this case because I can't set the image parameters but thank you. It led me to check something else out.
